Helko Werk Saxon Review - 1 Month In

Quick review of my Helko Werk Saxon.
I've owned this splitting axe for a month now, and I'm honestly impressed. I haven't found anything I dislike about the Helko. Only gripe might be the handle thickness near the head of the axe, but that's also personal preference.

You probably already know this, but a grinding wheel can supposedly ruin the temper unless it's one of those water cooled ones. A belt or just a puck is probably the best way to go.

I can't remember what verbiage I used, but I do use a puck for my axes. Might touch it up at the end with my Field Guide Sharpener. Thanks for the info!

Why would you want a splitting axe to be razor sharp?
