Okay, this commentary comes down to complexity v.s. simplicity. Stay with me, folks. This one's not too long because it's a quite simple concept. Right when the piece started, I knew I was in for something fantastic when I heard how fast-paced and complicated Charlie's part was. I was wondering how you were going to showcase Charlie trying to get out as many words as possible in such a short time period. The entire first thirty seconds of this screams "gasping for breath" and it perfectly reflects Charlie's eager spew of words. The girl doesn't have much time, and her idea is very complex, branching off to multiple different ideas, so it's a very complicated thing to verbalize. This is perfect for her piece of this- I can tell that the first thirty seconds is going to be difficult to learn, which brings the learner into Charlie's world of rushed chaos. Also, I love how her part covers so many different parts of the piano, showing how she's bouncing from one idea to the next to the next. She doesn't know where she's going with her speech, and neither does the pianist. It's perfect. On the other hand, in comparison to your other works, Adam's part is rather stripped-down and simple. As someone said in the comments, it's "the rawest song from Hazbin Hotel." As long as he's confronting demons instead of angels, Adam has nothing to hide. He's not afraid to explain how entertaining murdering members of Hell is. He isn't afraid to be blunt or rude. After all, he's Adam, the first man. He can do whatever he wants, right? And furthermore, compared to the large range of Charlie's part, it's interesting to see Adam's part dwell mostly in the lower half of the piano, and it stays there for the majority of the piece. It shows how dark his intentions are for Hell, and how no one can change his mind. He has a one-track mind: to exterminate demons. These Hazbin songs are absolutely perfect, I adore your interpretations. Now that I've seen a few, combining the requests in the comments, I'd love to see your interpretations of "More Than Anything" and "You Didn't Know." More Than Anything is a softer, sweeter song, which we don't really get in Hazbin, so it'll be interesting to see how you contrast different techniques between that song and the rest you've composed (which are more upbeat, staccato, and angry in comparison). You Didn't Know, on the other hand, has so many different parts- Charlie, Emily, Sera, Vaggie, Adam, and Lute. It peaks my curiosity when I think about how you would differentiate between each different person stylistically. Hopefully, this might help you decide on the next Hazbin song!! Thank you again for this!! Slowly buying and learning each of these Hazbin pieces, love them all
