Hell Let Loose Gameplay That Keeps Bringing Me Back

As a noob I'm hooked. I'm nearly level 40 and have been playing since November. Started with rifleman and got it to level 3 or 4. Since I've been swapping between support, engineer, and medic. Last night, I had my highest xp ever at the end of the match as a medic. Had about 12K Xp. 7 Kills 28 deaths (mostly arty and not paying as much attention as i should going for a revive) but 54 revives in total. We got pushed back to our hq I told my squad I was gonna stay at the meat grinder, keep people alive, and engage in combat. We ended up becoming a nuisance at the meat grinder, and the rest of the units who weren't defending flanked around within about 30-40 minutes. we ended up at their hq and won the game. I don't necessarily think my efforts won the game entirely, but I definitely felt like I played a big part. And it's the first time I've actually made up a strategy on my own that was approved by my officer instead of just following orders. Sorry for the long comment. I just feel accomplished after so many games where I felt like I don't contribute as much as I should.

Once you finally understand that k/d is not as important as teamwork, communication, and playing your "role", the game takes on a whole different understanding. Find a squad that communicates and this game doesn't disappoint.

@christopherswider5577 Yeah, at first, it was all about KD for me. But I've been using my mic and asking questions. If every new player did what I did it would be alot smoother. I only worried about KD in my first game. Noone on the squad used mics.

Once you get confident with understanding the game (like where you should be etc) and use your mic, mark enemy tanks and garrisons, work with the commander and other squads and all that jazz you’ll see your K/D improve too.
