My way to grind XP: create or join a squad, then play to win the match, have fun, make friends. Repeat. It may not be as efficient was what Mono shows here, but to each their own.

I can understand why satchel chargers are behind an experience grind, they can be devastating team killers in the wrong hands. But as engineer gets them so much easier it can't be the reason the raider is such a grind.

Primary weapon and extra nades for raider vs sapper. Sapper is almost more focused on tanks and structure, raider more on combat

The best XP possible was commander on building/dismantling Garrison loop, while other character driving and dropping supply crates (you get XP if something is build with supply crate you dropped). After U9 best way to exp is: Build ALL nodes and change class to whatever you want. Each node generates 10xp every minute it's up (So it's 120xp every minute if you have all nodes). And all that experience goes to the current class you are playing. And best of all you can do it in normal match and all commanders are always grateful for doing that xD

One important note is, you must have two people minimum in the sever for this to work. According to the guide I found on steam for Hell Let Loose. I take no credit for this guide! "XP grinding technique" By Tannco 1. Find a server that at least 2 players in it.(1 if you just want to grind officer or commander class) 2.Join the game and select the class you want to grind, then spawn at the base that closest to trucks.(both supply and transport truck would work) 3.Get in the driver seat of the truck.(If there's no truck available, spawn as commander, spawn truck for you) 4.Sit tight(If you want to avoid other player griefing your grind, you can drive to remote area that far from the HQ) Now, you gain the ability to earn 50XP per minute(Play as infantry 20XP/minute, at driver seat 30XP/minute). At least it progresses mush faster than playing the game normally, you only earn 2~10XP per kill, jesus. WARNING : Make sure there's at least 2 player in the server(includes you), otherwise, it gains no XP."

-Grab Engineer. -Take the supply truck. -Build nodes, if you're lucky and build all 4 sets. -buikd all your fortifications -Do supply runs for 99% of the game. Or, take any other class, and do supply runs the entire match, occasionally helping build stuff. Went from a level 3 Engineer to a level 8 within three weeks

Tell me this was before update 9? If during update 9, you are missing out on the biggest way to actually play the game and level a class. From the patch notes: "Engineers gain 10 Support, Role and Career XP every time a resource node that they placed generates resources (Every 60 seconds)" Don't read this as just engineer, but focus on "every time a resource node generates resources" The easier way to level your assault is to get into any server (live, seeding, or private) then build all the resource nodes as now (1) engineer can build all 12. This means that every minute you will generate 120 points for your active class, regardless if it's an engineer. So go Engineer, get roughly 2000 support points by building the nodes/consuming your resources/driving a support truck, then switch to your assault class and have fun. All 120 points/minute earned as your assault class will go to your assault level progression. Enjoy and keep the videos coming.

This is the way to go now. I received >38,000 XP points just for going Engineer and building nodes all map long. Every time the point was captured by the enemy and then recaptured by my team, I had to start over again. Self sufficient, driving the supply truck back and forth to the HQ and building all three nodes with each supply crate dropped. I didn't die once, I didn't kill any enemy, I don't think I even fired my weapon ... but we won the round and voila!! >38,000 pts! Not the most exciting round, but man, effective in racking up those points!

My way is pretty long but it got me a level and a half on support: Step 1: join a game that’s just started Step 2: select engineer Step 3: place blueprints near an hq Step 4: swap to support and use the supplies to build the nodes Step 5: wait for crate cool down to be about 30 seconds until it’s done Step 6: repeat steps 1-5 with the remaining nodes Step 7: play the game Step 8: collect that xp at the end of the match. (I got from lvl 1 to lvl 2 and halfway to lvl 3 from afking this for one round

If you want to speed up things up even more, do the building stuff on Omaha Offensive as the germans ( I think it works on hurtgen offensive as well, cant remember). Why Omaha Offensive out of all maps ? Because the game allows you to drop supplies from the truck just next to the resupply station. And about the trucks, I believe you just have to be in the drivers seat ( and it works with the transport truck as well if I remember correctly ). Hopefully they change how the progression system works pretty soon. To begin with, they could just apply the match bonus (+25%) and the match win bonus (+50%) to class progression as well.

You basically keep making bunkers at an hq that lets supply trucks drop supplies, usually Omaha beach bottom hq on offensive mode. Bunkers provide the most xp. It's the only way I was gonna get to assault level 9. BTW is that class stupid? Because everyone is grinding for it so you can't get it usually. I have a satchel now since im level 9 but since there is a guy grinding for it I cant use it to help lol.

my xp grind goes as follows. Join with a friend and let him open a squad and then as engineer cap all but the last point. Build all the nodes there, drive back once with the supply truck and build the rest of the nodes in the last area. Then switch to assault and go afk. You get at least 45000xp per round that way with 10 mins of work.

I did it the long way, and it took weeks to get to level 9, and ends up I hate both guns on the high level assault, grease gun lvl 8 American and STG lvl 9 German and barely play that loadout now.

I’m medic lvl 6 and it’s ridiculous how long it takes to level up. If I get around 25 revives, 20 kills, and a bunch of used bandages on teammates, I get around 1k xp. It takes such a stupidly long amount of time

I’m curious - why should it be patched? Does someone doing this make someone else’s gameplay worse? I’m genuinely interested. Gaijin would stop something like this out of spite, and the belief that if you’re frustrated enough you’ll spend real money but how does this fit in with HLL?

It should be patched because you should get to unlock loadouts at a reasonable pace. Unlocking lvl 9 Assault class by actually playing as an Assault player will take you like 20hs if not more.

I got more important things to do, and when I do come back to play and get around 1-2k xp per round only to see the xp bar move a centimeter it really demotivates me

As someone whos done this, u did it incorrectly sir. You forgot to switch sides and do it over again so you get a bigger time bonus. Could consistently get 12k-15k with a buddy.

I did this same thing but with only one account. Had a buddy join me in an empty server that had team balance off. He made a squad and spawned a second supply truck and then left. Everything else is the same. You get points for dropping supplies out of the truck aswell, so some may have been wasted on your second account. I feel your pain mono.

There's a thing called "seeding" which is usually when you join an emtpy (or near empty) server to give it the appearance of having more people playing. This will then draw more people to the server, who now has more people playing, and over the course of a match or two, you can usually get a server that was previously empty to almost full of active players. Players that seed like this will usually move onto other servers once they feel their current server is seeded enough.

Crap. I’ve bought the game but haven’t installed it yet. I assumed it was different to the likes of War Thunder etc. I hate grinding, I just want to play for the tactics, the vehicles and the planes (depending on game). I’ve moved from WT to IL2 and DCS as I can’t stand the grinding and I don’t regret it. I was about to start HLL for my infantry/tank fix but maybe it’s not what I thought. I might go to squad or post Scriptum, assuming they don’t do this awful stuff. I get that the addictive nature of grinding keeps people in a game but I doubt many people enjoy it, apart from a mild, temporary sense of satisfaction until you realise there’s always more to grind. But many publishers don’t care if you’re having an awful time, as long as you’re in their game and in Gaijin’s case, spending more money. They really are the worst of publishers, at least at the B-list level. Arrgh. Thanks for the video, though. If HLL was made by Gaijin they’d be scrambling to make sure what you’ve done to grind could never be done again, and probably broken some gameplay element while they did it.

I think you completely misunderstood the point of the video. This was just a silly thing I forced upon myself to unlock a very specific loadout, mostly because I stream a lot and wanted to use it on stream. HLL has pretty much 0 grind. Yes, there are kits you get as you level up but as I mention in the video, 99% of them are unlocked at lvl 3 which doesn't take long at all to achieve. With the recent update, you can build nodes and get a ton of XP which makes the tactics I used in the video completely irrelevant. I didn't post this video as a "here's how to grind guide" but rather as a fun video showing something I did for myself. Hell Let Loose has absolutely nothing in common with Gaijin style games.

Hola mono, el tema de los puntos de experiencia que te da la construcción esta rotísimo para mi, pero entiendo que es para "Incentivar" a que los equipos construyan, y ahora con los nodos que se rompen a medida que el equipo contrario te captura los puntos es mas necesario tener una escuadra que se encargue únicamente de la logística, lo cual es muy tedioso, monótono y aburrido, asi que para mi, en esta update esta bien la cantidad de puntos que te da. Saludos Hi mono, the subject of experience points that construction gives you is very broken for me, but I understand that it is to "encourage" the teams to build, and now with the nodes that break as the opposing team captures you the points is more necessary to have a squad that only takes care of the logistics, which is very tedious, monotonous and boring, so for me, in this update the amount of points it gives you is fine.
