I love how you guys play it like a real tank crew. Finding the enemy, then being super cautious in you movements or shelling a position until your infantry moves up to take it. Super realistic game play and super fun to watch.

I have really missed Cap's Gollum impression when he gets over excited. 30 seconds in and he's gone unintelligible. Haven't heard much of that since the days when you guys were taking down star destroyers and dog fighting tie fighters.

Suggestion: Use compass bearings and distance when calling out targets. (i.e. "Infantry bearing 270 at 105 meters!)

I beleive the army use clockface directionw which might be more practical.

@@tomriley5790 if you look at the bottom of the viewfinder you will see the compass heading displayed and it takes all the guesswork out of calling targets. The Army Air Corps used the clockface method as in 12 O'clock, then high or low depending on location.

@@tomriley5790 Still, in Hell Let Loose it is arguably easier to communicate via bearings and distance rather than clock face directions. Also, the Grim Reapers are used to using bearing and distance in other games, so in theory it shouldn't be a problem here.

And not to mention the fact that the firefly was crewed by an entire different nation. The only thing they have in common is the suspension. They are almost entirely different tanks.

Tanks + infantry is the perfect combo, either of them on their own will be in serious trouble. The tanks support the infantry with immense firepower and the infantry keep the enemy from using ATGM's, magnetic mines and other explosives on the tanks. Perfecto!!!!

I need some help please 🙏 I have an all-in-one HP at the very minimum requirements to run DCS. I have the TM 16,000 m joy and throttle. Don't have the VR yet but trying to go in the free flight and aircraft I can hear engines running aircraft will move in skips and totally stop but never have time to even make a maneuver. The axis map of controller is set and it starts me in the air already in pre-flight but aircraft on screen is not moving. Don't have VR yet but Im thinking at least I can do a simple flight from the screen. Can you guys help me or is my HP computer setup not up to grade ? It takes forever 15 to 20 minutes to download right now I'm trying to get into a server to see if that is a problem. Just trying to fly my t-51 before I buy everything on bottom in inventory from f-14 TC to the mosquito and migs. I am a Hilo pilot 91 to 96 CVN 76 had an emergency auto rotation on a SeaKnight that is equivalent to a ch-47 at 5K transmission blew up main ring gear. Auto rotation went well except I lost energy on front due to co-pilot altitude error. Everybody walked off in a training exercise. Can someone please help me I'm really loving DCs but can't even fly the free. I did reduce all the values such as from medium to low settings also graphics to the lowest setting. Cap you play like you're just along for the ride. You need to be looking around constantly. Quick looks at the map to keep situational awareness and back to looking around. You sometimes ignore crucial comments from your crew. as others have mentioned consider clock position callouts or compass headings

Cap 15:46 Firefly has a 76mm it can take out a Tiger 1 from the front and the Panther if you shoot for the turret im not sure if you can take out a tiger from the front with a 75mm sherman in this game but definitely can't irl so i wouldn't try it

One of my favorite Sherman vs Tiger I stories: A Tiger was shelling infantry in a valley on a hilltop during the Battle of the Bulge. A Sherman rolled up on the opposite hilltop and fired at the Tiger. The Tiger ignored the Sherman as the rounds bounced off and kept shelling the infantry. A second Sherman rolled up and began firing, and STILL the Tiger ignored them. Finally the second Sherman commander loaded a white phosphorus shell and hit the Tigers machine gun slit. The German tank crew thought their Tiger was on fire and abandoned it. I believe I read that story in a Stephen Ambrose book.

Cap having the map up every few seconds is so annoying for the viewers. Please check it no more than once per minute and not longer than just a few seconds please. It's really an action game not so much a strategy game. Also make slower scans left and right we get car sick when you whip your view around. Thanks!
