I'm not an Elsie hater, but I do understand why her team mates turned on her. She was down to the final four, and she wasn't able to do many of the basic kitchen tasks on her own without their help. Yes, it was mean when they wouldn't talk to her at all, but she should have learned some of the basic skills over the several weeks she was there to be able to make the dishes without everyone's help. Why should they keep making her look good instead of focusing on themselves when she was already getting a lot of positive attention and feedback from Chef Ramsey? I've been in the same situation where as a "team" I was doing all the work and making one or more of my team mates look good, and they got the praise, and I got nothing. Screw that. I have to work in a team, but I've also learned to take care of myself first.

He wasn't. You can see him in a documentary in the 80s where he was working as a chef. He has a whole history as a chef that you can dig up. He's definitely not an actor.
