It's amazing how good this game optimized is. I ran it in my Rig in max settings and it runs so smoothly with such amazing graphics. Well done Ninja Theory. Now I am just waiting until I finish it, to compare it with the masterpiece part 1. Maybe one of the best optimized games for PC and hopefully for Xbox and for a console anyway.

But I believe even in more middle level PCs the game probably will run great. Wondering of course how much it can reach in Xbox Series X quality mode. 4K 30 fps or more than 30?

If a game is Xbox exclusive, imo they can make them timed...since they're day one on gamepass for us they should make them multiplat down the road...idk how long though...i guess when sales slow down on Xbox...maybe a year? 6 months? It's hard to say but my point is I'm subbed to gamepass ult and get it day and date...I do purchase most games I like but I also purchase many indie games I never thought I would have all because of gamepass. The game is very well optimised for such high fidelity visuals. I have a 4080 and at max settings @ 4k it's 100+fps constantly. The best visuals ever in a video game by leaps and bound.

@@MuhammadSaad-ob7fv Hellblade 2 is a very different game, it's more of a interactive cutscene using all UE5's features, things like nanite are not in Alan Wake 2 as it's not a UE game, but Alan Wake uses path tracing while Hellblade 2 uses Lumen (lumen is good but it's not exactly path tracing!) IMO Hellblade 2 overall has higher fidelity.

Love your work mate. Critically acclaimed, Hellblade 2 hadn't been out for 5 minutes and everyone was telling anyone who clicked on the yt video how disappointing it is. Nothing new about that though, has been happening since gamers had a choice of platforms to play on. What Ninja Theory accomplished is a true marvel. Now we've seen what can be accomplished the next question that comes to mind is will this be the new standard with visuals for any developer taking advantage of UE5?

Hey there, I've been playing this game on both my PC and Xbox for the past day. My PC isn't the best, it's got a 4060ti, 32gb of RAM, and a Ryzen 7700. Surprisingly, the Xbox version looks better to me. Side by side, the Xbox version is just way better looking. But, I have to say, the PC version is definitely smoother and crisper. Unfortunately, my PC can't handle running it on high settings. This game seems like it was meant to be played on Xbox, especially on a big OLED TV. It's not a bad game, but it feels more like a reboot to me. The graphics are on point, the story is solid, and the gameplay is similar to those Sony story games, so it's pretty good. The game is not long but thats a GOOD THING . Now i want hellblade 3. Now 30fps... i hate this debate but hear me out . 30fps is sometimes BETTER THAN 120 FPS. 😮!! Here is why. In movies you get 30 frames because it just looks better on the big screen 60 fps is smoother. But it may feel off when u watch it depending on what u are watching. I think 40fps would have been a good middle ground so the camera looks smoother. But the gameplay and entire story at 30 fps just feels right. And trust me i hate 30fps. I hated redfall. Starfield, and i was angry at this until i played it on pc and xbox. No spoiler rating i give it 8.8/10 its a fun game and unique something u only get thru xbox games.

I can't watch this yet because I already see spoilers but HOLY MUTHER FUCKING GOD DAMN this game looks stunning. The visuals are on another level, from EVERY game out there. This game makes God of War and Horizon FW look like fucking cartoons. The Nanite geometry detail in this game is mind boggling, truly showing even more impressive stuff than the initial UE5 demos. Lumen is in FULL effect. The lighting is incredible. Not only do they render minuscule peach fuzz on faces, they fucking modeled and render nose hairs, inside the nose, in real time on top of everything else they are rendering. They made a BIG statement. I don't even think Marvel 1943 will go to this level of detail, but if they do, and it becomes commonplace, holy shit are we in for an incredible next generation of games. This game often runs at 60 fps maxed out on my laptop 3080 and 2080 ti at 1440p, and looks absolutely fantastic on the Xbox. 30 fps is perfectly fine, but I'm willing to bet they will be able to patch in a 40 fps mode at some point, and maybe even a targeted 60 fps mode with some sacrifices in resolution. The game actually looks sharper on the Xbox than I expected, even on a 1440p display. I was expecting it to be blurry as fuck, so I expect they could give up some resolution for a 60 fps mode and it'll look blurry, but hey, it could work judging by what I'm seeing in performance. I am playing most of the game on a 4090, and a solid 60+ fps maxed out with perfect frame times is a fucking sight to behold. Nothing out there touches it visually. The frame times are almost perfect even on my laptop and 2080 ti desktop, which both have almost exactly the same performance. They hit 60 often but sometimes hover between 45 and 60. No less than 45 though. I'm really impressed with the performance, although it does help not having to render every pixel on screen. By the way, the aspect has not even once entered my mind while playing this game. This aspect ratio is definitely the best way to play it. I also LOVE the combat. People like bitching about it being simple but that doesn't mean it's boring. I got so bored with God of War that I stopped playing the game for Ryse. Ryse also had simpler combat, but both Ryse and Hellblade somehow keep my attention much easier than GoW did. I'm taking my sweet time with this game and exploring every rock, pebble and eyeball that I can. The photo mode is incredible and addictive, but just taking screenshots straight from direct gameplay is just as impressive. Took me 54 hours to get through TLOU 2, 11 hours for The Order, and I expect I'll spend at least 11 hours in this game before completing it just because I love to explore and appreciate incredible artwork. Hellblade 2 is the most stunning work of art so far in gaming.

@@danielainger i do. so don't get your panties in a bunch. sometimes i lock frame rates to get a perfect frame time. do you understand what frame time means? i have the game running at 120hz on VRR and I'm getting perfect frame times at, at least 60 fps. Don't worry bro, a 4090 can do above 60 fps in this game, maxed out at 1440p. Not sure about 4k though, since I don't run a 4k display. I prefer frame rates over res. Have a good night.

I'm about half way done with the game and the majority of the reviewers have the same critisms and praise of the game as I do. It is definitely improved upon from the first. People who don’t like this kind of game play will slash it saying it’s a walking sim 6 hour cutscene with 1 hour gameplay. I personally love this type of game I can relax after work and the combat system I find very enjoyable and it’s the first game I have played in ages that actually sucks me into the game and makes me forget it a game

Yeah... it's worth it if you really care about performance. Expensive in the beginning but cheaper in the long run. I only have 4080 and it's still 100+fps @ 4k max settings so I'm thinking you'd only need a 4070 to get 60fps at max settings. Save hard and do it man. PC is the real "next-gen"

I bought it after i played it on game pass to make sure i was going to love it like the first Hellblade & it didn't dissapoint at all for me but this type of game isnt for everyone so if u looking for a arcade style hack & slash then this aint for u.. for me though both Hellblade games are in my top 5 favorite games of all time

I wish games could reuse world assets and build an entirely different game and genre. Imagine being able to reuse the landscapes that way and release a title in 2 years. Perhaps the assets can be added to UE5 and other developers could access and use them.. even for a fee. To spend many years building something for it to be used only once...
