Ahhh, the awesomeness of the 3800. I always knew they could do something, just never got into it because it was my girls car, she had the series 3, the one that is 40 HP less than the supercharged and was a beast. Too bad she was doing 90mph on the hottest day of the summer with the AC on and radio blasting and didn't see the warning indicator on the information screen and broke a ring land off a cylinder. I FORCED it to run another 70 miles. While replacing it I stumbled upon the header and downpipe kits and always wondered what was possible. Sorry it's so long, it's just REALLY IMPRESSIVE when you know what that takes to accomplish. AWESOME JOB man, I seen a random short weeks ago when you did the initial startup with no exhaust and people were talking bad, I was SHOCKED and knew exactly what I was hearing, again, sorry so long but AWESOME job well done.

Those W bodies were nice, and the 3800 litre V6 supercharger was ahead of its time. I just don’t think tbey took off because the F, Y, and Fox Foxbodies and had more bang for the buck. In the cheap, fast, and reliable (pick 2) era, it was easy to go cheap and fast with the credit available. Now in this new brave era that were in, everybody is resourcing the old cars that were reliable and cheap, and now making them fast. I didnt think the W bodies would be able to run with a modern day Hellcat, but this is pleasent to look at. The technologies gone a long way too, with the force induction map timing and the overall buid quality and availability of performance parts. I got a small taste of this when repairing my old Chevy Cruze, and I was able to get an aftermarket turbo charger for three hundred dollars that outperformed the factory turbo. I could only imagine that it only gets better when the cars get older.

Just found your channel/car. Definitely the nicest GTP I’ve seen. Love the manual swap too. What’s the setup if you don’t mind sharing?

As I sit here watching your video, yeah your Grand Prix is quick but it is nowhere near as fast as a Hellcat. That guy wasn't even on it. Infact one the times you "appeared" to win you jumped on it and just pointed a finger and yelled go! How is anybody supposed to even know what you said? He never even hit the gas, but you stomped on it and made it a one-person race, you against yourself. But as I opened with, you're no slouch in the heavy widebody, comfortable ride Department... That Prix is badass! Your pride, and attention to detail makes that a showstopper at any Cars and Coffee, car show, or heck, even the AUTORAMA!! Great job sir!!
