I always enjoy your presentations, but I've especially relished your Hellboy series. FYI, the Hand of Glory is a real thing in occult lore, and if made "properly" does purportedly have the power to render the occupants of a house motionless, as well as to open locked doors. However, the only hands whose individual digits serve as candles, such as the one illustrated in the story, are those sold by occult curio shops, and are really just hand-shaped wax candles, bought by those wannabe's who like to surround themselves with spooky paraphernalia. They're just for theatrical effect. A "real" Hand of Glory is a candle made from the fat rendered from a hanged murderer, held in his severed left hand (and some "powerfully" sinister conjure words, as one would expect). Of course the look of the Hellboy Hand of Glory obviously has nothing to do with you, but I thought this little snippet of lore might be of some interest to you & perhaps some of your readers.
