While this guy is correct on break in process, it actually comes down to heat cycles. Milage is important, but heat cycles actually break in an engine.

Breaking in an engine is a myth. the engine's going to break in whether your full throttle as soon as you first start it or if you're slow RPM and turn it on and off 100 times. Get the oil up to temp and go wide open.

Warehouse is in Bolingbrook.👍 Also from what I understand your not supposed to shift the car at all just leave it in auto untill 300miles then you can start shifting in higher rpms when possible but still under 70mph...

For the “regular” body they make very narrow ones that don’t stick out much, but still block a lot. They don’t detract from the looks as bad, certain angles you won’t notice them. Not sure what they have for the widebody. In either case I went with a clear film similar to X-pell but I think it’s slightly thicker. You have to get real close to see it

Corey just get the whole thing wrapped. Then you'll have full vehicle paint protection. I have a local guy here that does amazing jobs with full vehicle protection kits. I'm sure your place or a place out there would be able to do just as good of a job.

I would consider covering the rockers too. One of the other Redeye owners on youtube has chips all down the side of his at 400 miles. The rocks cut through the factory plastic on his rear fender flare too. When it snows here they spread what they call coarse sand down (gravel) and they don’t sweep it up until late spring. I had already had my Redeye done. Only downside is the transition from the film to paint. But when I traded in my Scat Pack, not a single chip down the sides after 3 years of all season driving

Jeff B. Yes, but SRT cars still require a break in beyond that. In fact with my last two Challengers, I noticed around 1500 miles the cars really opened up and launched better, revved quicker.

I like the bigger one. If it hold up and doesn't bend then I'd keep it. Also....for the fenders...you can get real decent rock guards that click on. JLT performance sells a 4 piece set for $60. Worked very well on my charger. Looked great too I thought.

The Mopar splash guards work better than Expel . Plus they look good for the stance. As far as magnetic oil drain plugs. They're a waste of money. If they helped they'd come standard. The oil filter picks up all the particles and some particles are aluminum or other non magnetic material. Car looks nice though. 👍

Magnetic drain plugs work, I use them. Every oil change there is a decent amount of shavings and material on the tip. Cheap money savings from factory is why they dont come standard as you can "get away" without them. Its still a big plus.
