Mortars can be fun, especially in a focused team like this. But they are still HUGE friendly fire magnets compared to other, more effective sentries like autocannon and rocket. I get more kills and less friendly fire from rocket sentries and autocannon sentries, plus those work against hulks, tanks, chargers, and bile titans.

The fact that you do not collect and completely ignore samples hurts my soul a bit... I understand you are maxed out on capacity with nothing to spend them on but still, your teammates probably are NOT!

You if you are that bothered about him not collecting samples for the sake of his teammates. Why don’t you go online and help them collect till they had it maxed out as well? The teammates should have gone and collect it themselves if they want the samples so much. He is under no obligation to collect samples for his teammates.

@@Mandatoryuser i mean we are all different people with different personalities, I do not care just as much as you care. But we do not have the obligation to farm samples of those who joined into our games, its certainly not written in the rules that you must help others farm samples, it is from your own accord. You probably sympatize them not having samples and sure i can respect that, go ahead and help them, but don't drag others like me into in, thats where the problems begin.

No one ever said you are forced to do it, but it only makes sense to pick them up. -From a cooperative perspective, you're helping a fellow diver out by doing this, enriching the experience for everyone involved, including yourself if you have any empathy in you. -From a selfish perspective, picking them up saves your teammates the work of covering the same ground you already covered, and it allows the whole squad to move with greater speed and efficiency. There isn't a good enough reason to ignore samples, that would offset the benefits I just mentioned. If there is, I would like to hear it from you.

Max ammo and equipment shouldn't be a booster IMO, it needs to be part of the base game.

yep, it's actually anti-fun to either be forced to bring hellpod space optimization or call down a resupply immediately.

@@PRC533 for me it's because it reduces your capabilities when you are vulnerable. They should make it so that if you select it, a hellpod drops with two supply packs that anyone can pick up. That way it can be selected as a way to have extra supplies on the map, especially during a critical time where people are dying.

I'd say keep it as is for early game accessibility as the squad wide booster. BUT also give us a ship module at the end of one of the ship module lists that only gives it to you specifically as well. So if newer players or whoever wants to help the squad especially if they are all newer players they can at the cost of a booster earlier in the game. But then high level players in endgame that have all the modules in that list purchased can have it individually permanent on with the ship module and a full squad of high level players running helldive don't have to burn a booster for it.

@@pastrie42you get 20 if you use them every time they’re available, 4 packs in each one. So 80 resupplies… and that’s not enough for you?! Jesus Christ…. Play on an easier mode for god’s sake if you can’t manage with 80 resupply packs.

28:00 you're basically asking for the Stalwart from Helldivers 1. It was a primary weapon back then, not a support weapon. Who knows if we'll ever get something like that added as a primary on Helldivers 2, but I wouldn't put my money on it, seeing how they moved the Stalwart to the Support category.

Mortars, aka the friendly fire turrets, are awesome. I always try to bring one. I end up having the highest kill count in most missions.
