Helldivers 2 Sample spawning bug

The sheer quantity of bugs is astounding
17 common, 13 rare and 3 supers aswell as ammo and plenty of support weapons all in one spot.
I tried so hard to render this in a higher bitrate but premier said no

Give them time... the devs just got done with releasing a major rebalance / rebuff patch and a warbond it would be even better if they had more devs working on fixing these bugs. If you're a dev, consider applying and helping out. I can't, because i can't code for shyte to save my skin.

I have actually applied for a QA position at the company, no response yet but I do wish to help this game and for these videos to just be an archive of how the game used to be, but for now I agree this was a big patch but its so disheartening seeing such basic features stop working and old bugs reintroduced, instant kills are so back baby.

This has something to do with the glitch in map generator. Previously the "new missions", 15-min rescue mission, where you only have 1 main objective, rescue 20 researchers, and no side objectives. And the map allow you to travel outside of the rescue area to get some Point of Interests. Those POIs are filled with samples, so much that you literally "overcollect" the sample. Waaay over the "total sample" HUD indicator under the mission timer, 35/31 rare samples. There are also cases where the map is randomly filled with water/lake in abnormal way. Peak of this is the extraction area is filled under water and the player literally can't reach the Pelican call-in beacon since they die of drowning.

samples found from containers/drones you salute are bonus and will cause you to go over on any mission with POI's

Interesting bug. Did other samples spawn in as well? I have gone over what the game says is on the map (40/36 rare was my best) so wondering if a similar, less dense, issue happens frequently.

before I found these we had 7 rares and 7 common so yea they did spawn however the super samples spawned here and I didnt see any rocks that would indicate it should. in total that spot did have 50% of the rares/commons and 100% of the supers that the total sample indicator shows. I believe when the sample counter goes over like you are describing it is because of the samples you find in bunkers/containers/downed pods are extra ontop of the map spawned ones

i wanna say its fake as quasars cant randomly spawn on the map and you picked one up from the ice (ive never seen it spawn in a map and im lv115) However picking up one sample at a time in a pile like that wouldn't happen if someone got knocked into the ice and died so i assume someone was modding and spawned them there

if it was a bugged spawn there wouldn't be a quasar there also with 19 of 20 lives and no missions done its safe to say its close to the start of the mission so no one would have had enough time to call in extra equipment yet so that with the fact that the rest of your team have there backpacks still while you have no pack or support weapon its likely that you are the one who died so its most likely your stuff being pulled out making you most likely to be the modder. good job outing yourself. id love to see you explain this away

No need to over think shit, this game is in the worst state it's been since launch, every patch fixes one bug and adds 2 more WHILE reintroducing previously fixed bugs. This is just the game shitting itself on map generation ((notice the napalm shell)) and pure luck I even stumbled upon it, can't know if it's always been bugged and it's just so rare or it's newly introduced.
