It's the same reason why business owners can go on social media, find BS an employee posted on/off work time, and legally fire them for it - it affects the company image, and if you're making a bad image then you're a detriment to the company. Also it was not just people using puke emojis, there were also clown and pointing laughing emojis on other posts that arent even furry related.
