Something about the character designs freaks me out a bit. The human-like eyes and ears in particular give me a sort of uncanny valley feeling. @_@

All these gen z kids crying over dub. We used to make fun of ppl who watched dub... get it for its ORIGINAL LANGUAGE THE CREATOR INTENDED. Contrary to pophlar belief jp does not need to cater to EN they dont even like us and our woke tendencies. Hence the outrage over peaches games face on the box. Go look at jp comments. Seriously again ifnu dont like subs for a JAPANESE GAME, THEN GO PLAY SOMETHING ELSE

Very closed-minded response. Believe it or not, but people have different preferences than you. Watching is a completely different experience than reading (at many points you can't even read here, due to being in combat, and this equals missed story). And based on the general response to the game, your hot take is in the minority.

Games like Tales of Berseria and Scarlet Nexus had great english voice acting that was important due to people talking during battles.
@HellFireRPGs11 ай бұрын
Yeah, so important. There is a LOT of dialogue, though, so they probably didn't think it was financially viable.

Definitely worth a look. I think a lot of people will really like it.

If you like the game's combat and visuals, I recommend looking at word Art Online Last Recollection. Same developers, AQURIA, made it, and both games share a lot of aspects in their design. I would say that both games are a bit pricey, even if they are good, and I would suggest waiting for a sale!

I loved this game. It's beautiful. Great story. It's basically Blame! With cute anime girls. I wish it was an anime

Loved the demo and this game seems right up my alley. Already was a huge fan of crystar so can't wait to see how they've improved with this successor

thank you for a better description of the game than the steam store page offers
@newby24211 ай бұрын
NISA did a terrible Steam description, that's for sure! The game was developed by the same developers as Sword Art Online Last Recollection, AQURIA. Both games also share a lot of aspects in their design.

Although I’m a sci-fi fan, there are some aspects of this story and the characters that I didn’t care for at all when I heard about them. But the lack of an English dub on a very dialog heavy game makes me drop this one easily. Even with me being a sci-fi fan the game is not for me and you are very much right that it’s not for everyone.

This Game May not be for some people and could be for some Asian People who likes Japanese Video Game because this game has no English Voices Language just Japanese and English Subtitles for Crymachina Action Japanese Role Playing Video Game by Nis America and Furyu Corporations From East Asia Japan.

You make it sounds like it's the end of the world LOL, I've played many a game in japanese and no problems, the only real issue is when there's no translation at all, this is a japanese produced game, translation and subtitles are fine, it doesn't take away at all from the game.

FuRyu isn't the developer. They're the publisher for the Japanese release of those games

I have a question. Is there a narrative reason that there are only female machina in this world? I know it sounds stupid, but if they have a narrative reason I will be more inclined to try this game, but if there are only girls for the sole sake of appealing to men, then it's not a game for me. I love sci-fi narratives and the premise gave me vague Xenogears vibes which I absolutely adore... I just don't want to constantly think about the developers choices with every new character I see. It will break my immersion.
