Oh how I wish I would of learned at your age that my value as a human was not based on how much I produced and hours worked. I spent half my life making my job my number one. As a teacher it’s expected and I just went along with it. Sweet friend, thank you for reminding us all the importance of rest and joy. Life is meant to be loved and not worked, we are human beings not human doings. Much love to you! 🧡🌻 Sonia

I love the European lifestyle for this exact reason. They work to live and do not live to work. Here in Western society we tend to do the opposite, which is extremely unhealthy, especially for mental health. As I'm approaching my 30's and recently quitting a job I loved due to extreme stress and no boundaries (my fault but still not right), I'm learning this too. Our boundaries in regards to self care should be set in stone. It is not optional for me to take care of myself. Work comes fourth (after worship, taking care of myself and then family/close friends too). Hugs to you! 🥰💕

Morgan, this was so calming and beautiful. My husband took me out for pancakes this morning and I was so anxious just going there. I work from home and just seriously don’t get out very much. It was work to relax and enjoy. I know that is just crazy. Watching you and Landon interact, especially in the kitchen, made me cry happy tears seeing you have fun together like that. You have figured out many life lessons that it has taken me twice+ long to figure out. I know these video comfort many people all over the world. PS that apron is perfect- I love the mushrooms 🍄.

Oh I know how you feel, Brenda! It’s so odd how something fun like getting pancakes or going to a pumpkin patch can be anxiety-inducing…when I started feeling anxious, I kept wondering, “but why?? This is FUN. Not scary.” And yet my body had a different reaction. We do the best we can. Our feelings are valid no matter how our-of-place they feel in the moment. And as for life lessons, I’m sure you figured out many I don’t know when you were my age! Landon and I send you big hugs ❤️ PS the apron was a birthday present from Karen! 🍄

It took me a lot of time to accept anxiety. Anxiety is gonna be there, and its alright as long as you know that its gonna go away but only if you dont fight to get rid of it as soon as possible. When you talked about how you believe some of your anxiety is based on adjusting and adapting to a somewhat post pandemic life again, my eyes just swelled with tears. Yeah, that's been a big one for me. And I too have been sick, or incapacitated in one way or another, it seems more of the year than not, and I feel worn down by trying to be 100% when I don't feel 100%. Hugs to you, hugs to me. Hugs to everyone dealing with their own emotional struggles. I can't believe that was your first pumpkin patch! Pumpkin patches are such a highlight of my autumn. (And also growing my own pumpkins, but I only ended up with one teeny tiny pumpkin in my garden this year.)🎃

There is so little happiness in my life these past few years, but I try appreciating the small joys, like watching your videos on the days im well enough to do that. I think what you said about the pandemic makes sense . Im just sad to know that for me the isolation has not stopped, and I have no idea when I will be able to be well enough to out of bed. Ive been totally bedbound these past two years, I suffer from a neurological illness called ME, and in 2020 I got so sick that I lost the ability to walk and I still cant even sit up in bed or get in a wheelchair, but I try to keep hope that I will one day get better walk again. I also suffer really badly from anxiety, and I understand how horrible it can be.♥️ Im just do happy to follow your vlogs and see how you get joy out of the simple things in life. What you said about all of us finally processing what has happened over the past few years really hit home! Even though there have been no restrictions in Denmark for a long time now, just the other day I found myself panicking as I was getting on the train because I had "forgotten" my mask.. Under the height of the pandemic everybody talked about getting back to normal, and then how this was our new normal, but I feel like these past years have changed so much about what we thought we knew, that everyday is just us figuring out how to live our lives no matter the circumstances and finding those small victories and lovely experiences like going to a pumpkin patch, cooking a warm nice meal, or spending time with friends no matter how ✨ Thank you so much for sharing your anxieties, thoughts and feelings with us! 🧡

Love what you said about working culture in the US. So much of our worth and well being is attached to us being a full-time+ worker. For instance it’s hard to access healthcare unless you are employed full-time. I’m also in the process of deconstructing what I was raised to believe in terms of my worth and glad I’m not alone.

The healthcare is a good point! It’s terrible that such resources are mostly limited to people who have full time jobs.
