I know this is 2 yrs old. Congrats anyway. Honey you just look worn out, in this video and you still took time out for us. Thank you so much. I do remember those days, so long ago. So worn out, but so happy. Thanks again

LMAO at returning Dorothy. She is adorable. You so right about the noise, babies are very adaptable. It's good to see you are maintaining your sense of humor.

I love your video! I came across it last night before bed and I could not fall asleep, lol. I was hearing the sound of the sewing machine in my head even when the video was over. Now all I want is to dust my Suzuki and put it to work on vinyl. I started feeling bad " What if my machine suffers with ought all that oil...dust mixed with old oil?" Oh no...Should I call someone to come over and look at it? I bought it a few years ago and only used it twice myself and a few times my son , but it sounds great. Such a solid horse of a sewing machine. I wish I had bought one for regular fabrics instead. I love the vinyl prints you are using. I also am amazed of how easy to make all these seam to you. You could probably doit with eyes closed :) .

That's so funny. I was thinking that your sewing will probably be a calming noise for Dorothy because she is used to it already. BECAUSE: I was a medical transcriptionist and my son actually would ask me if I was going to be working (I was self employed) because he was going to sleep and that sound was a good sleep noise for him. And then you said that about you and your mom. :-) Nice to see you and Ben back in the sewing room, Lauren.

With less pain, what happened. I just found you. I hope you are ok and will heal real fast and quick like. I subscribed because I liked what I saw, however I had no idea what you were sewing, 😉 I’m not finished yet and it’s the first time watching you, so I guess that’s my fault. OK, you just talked about your baby girl and how she loves to sleep, so now I know.

I do not know if you will see this question, but could this be made into a small crossbody bag? Or do you think it would need to be made a bit larger?

It could be made into a small crossbody for sure!

Hi Lauren, May I know what type of thread are you using to sew the pouch?

Lauren, I need help! I have a bunch of 9x12 vinyl from My Punkbroidery and tried about 20 times to Tetris the pattern measurements to get one Devon from just 1 sheet of vinyl. How on Earth did you get it to fit?? I can't seem to get 2 side panels, top piece and back out of 1 piece as you said in your previous video 😣
@LaurenMormino4 жыл бұрын
Make sure you’ve made your pattern pieces to be finished size (subtracting the trimmed off bits - you may be cutting them into your seam allowance) but that just means you use a smaller seam allowance on those bits!
@shauwnaspears42154 жыл бұрын
So I'm watching the replay and you are telling us that you don't like your Diaper bag...🤔🤔🤔 so does that mean I can now buy it?

What type of machine do you use?
@charlottewilliams62264 жыл бұрын
What kind of chair are you using? I am looking for a comfortable chair because I have lumbar disc and sciatica issues.
How fast does the JUKI machine sew that you used for these Devon Pouches?
@LaurenMormino4 жыл бұрын
It can sew even faster than shown in the video but this is the speed I can handle haha

@@LaurenMormino pattern for what exactly? 39 minutes is a long time to find out. Especially when you're setting up your machine and ironing zippers before you start. I stayed to the end as the start suggested wrist sized versions of the joggers pockets for the waist. Your techniques are good and nicely demonstrated. Small zippered bags which I assume can be clipped onto a wrist strap. An integrated strap would be useful and easily done. Totally agree about making noise around babies. If you're quiet for the first week, you're quiet for the first twenty years. Totally not doable, especially with any further babies.

What happened to your iron? I asked for that iron for Christmas...scared now.
@cbsncmom4 жыл бұрын
Andrea Gregg a month after I got it, it just stopped working. It kept shorting out and water kept leaking. It’s a great iron, when it works, it’s just that so many people have problems with them. I won’t buy another one.

Just purchased a Kobe walking foot. Is it normal for the handwheel to be rather stiff?
@LaurenMormino4 жыл бұрын
I don’t know much about Kobe machines But with my machine the hand wheel was stiff at first. It also can help to raise the pressure foot slightly when using the hand wheel
