If the neighbor is chasing you in alpha 1 and you go inside your own house whilst he is chasing you, he will stand still at one point, then jump through the window into your house and then get permanently stuck there. Really useful

I know this is just a personal gripe as someone who has run pre alpha but to avoid the death at the beginning, you can press on the bed until you get the giant neighbor nightmare, then do a bit of parkour to jump out of the roof of your house and beat the game without the neighbor even bothering you and needing to die at the start to proceed. Good video though I enjoyed it!

Something i love about this video is that at 4:24 when he talks about the trash can being a teleporter to the roof, he goes "weird, right?" And you expect him to start talking about why that happened and what precisely makes that bug possible. And then he just doesn't. He's literally just commenting on how that happening is objectively strange. It's such a relieving change of pace from people who make challenge runs like this and expect us, the viewer, who doesn't play these games, to care about these incredibly specific glitches that make incredibly specific things happen that conveniently help the player in incredibly specific ways. Thank you for both making me laugh and recognizing that the average viewer usually, and this is said with love, does not care about the creator's "speedrun strats."

Some things I wanna mention if youre gonna do anything relating to the alphas in the future Alpha 1: -You can get the neighbor stuck in your house by getting it into your house (theres many videos on how to do this Im pretty sure). But basically once your neighbor is in your house its AI will get confused and will stay there until you break a window or you leave the front doors open. Alpha 2: -By literally just pressing 0 with a phone, the neighbor will not be able to get you. He wont even chase after you when you are near him. Just dont touch him or you will be caught and he will go back to normal -Theres a much more consistent way of getting on the roof with a trash can. Instead of trying to fling yourself ontop of it just jump to the flower thing on the right and crouch midair (go to the video link if you wanan see how to do it) -You can actually grab the wrench and gun through the wall by just crouching, looking a bit down, and then just jumping to get the wrench. You dont need to jump for the gun. (this is also in the video) kzbin.info/www/bejne/iISXqKGfgLqKidU&ab_channel=test Alpha 3: -Id recommend putting your graphics to the lowest on Alpha 3 so you can see easier -You dont need a lockpick or the blue key to get to the keycard. What you can actually do is just crouch in front of the door that leads to the keycard room, and pick up the chair through the door (basically just the same trick with the wrench and the gun. Try getting the chair by the legs thats what works for me) Great video overall 👍

In the pre alpha where you get caught when you touch the door when you touch it and the neighbor is going to get you you can move sideway and go to the front door and when he catches you you will spawn there and the key will be there in front of you and make sure to throw something at it so it doesnt despawn and to get the crowbar by pressing a key on your keyboard so you lean so if you go in the garage or just lean in the garage there will be a crowbar so you could finish it in like 30 seconds

Hey man became a big fan of you over the last couple of months, here’s a little tip for alpha 1, at the back of the house you can use the elevator to get all the way to the lock pick room and skip the shark room, the catch is that the neighbor can use the elevator as well, great vid none the less!
