Molly Tengwall how is it body positive. I hate when people assume that if someone is a little bit thicker they are body positive and a skinny person’s wouldn’t be? That’s not very body positive of you to assume.

Olivia was thinking the same 😑 any girl thats a medium or above a size 2 that makes outfit videos is automatically doing it for “body positivity,” so annoying. Not all of us medium girls are uncomfortable in our skin and trying to push an agenda just by wearing a nice outfit, and i don’t mean that in a way to put down the body positive movement, but just assuming, like u said, that any girl thats not a 00 is trying to continuously proclaim that she indeed doesn’t hate the way she looks just divides us more. It makes it seem like we’re aliens or something and it shouldn’t be normal for us to like the way we look without following a movement

Olivia I think it is a body positive video because in some parts she is changing and showing some skin along with her undergarments. Some girls are very insecure about their bodies no matter the shape and size and feel uncomfortable revealing themselves even in the slightest bit. It’s body positivity video because even though Katy before has stated she wasn’t happy with her body she wasn’t afraid to show some skin in this video which showed her confidence and love and acceptance within herself. Girls are taught at a young age we shouldn’t display our assets to the world, and that they should remain hidden but I say if you got it, flaunt it...and that is body positivity.
