I Hate Vision Boards. I Do This Instead.

I really like the idea of doing a vision journal. I’m not a fan of a vision board because that collage style doesn’t fit my art aesthetic, so I wouldn’t want to keep the board out. I like the journal because we can constantly update it.

I had to come back to this video and let you know I decided to do a vision journal instead of a board. I went to Hobby Lobby today and I got a scrapbooking album, some pretty paper and I got started with mine today. I think I’m going to like this method better. Thanks for this video.

Love this. I do something similar in my planner. Makes sense to do it as a journal by category. Gonna give this a try. Great way to use one of the journals I’m hoarding. Lol. Thanks for sharing

No because why do I have a stack of journals on the floor by my bed, all incomplete or untouched lol had to be strategic with using a sketchbook I ACTUALLY use 😂

This is such a cool idea! Kind of a scrapbook for the future. I always write down my goals and I've been having my vision board as a screensaver on my phone. My goals are similar every year as well but my vision board from the previous year isn't novel anymore so a new one is kind of a pattern interruption.

I usually use an accordion scrapbook because it can close up and go on the shelf. But I’m definitely going the journal route this year. I like that multiple years can be in it and that I can actually write/journal throughout the year. Love that.

I have both a vision board and journal. My journal I can take with me wherever I go. I do enjoy my journal more.

Thanks for this. Great ideas. I've been looking for a way to use my Passion Planner Daily more intentionally and I believe I just figured it out. And I'm also not a fan of traditional vision boards but this year I actually created a digital vision board using Canva.

I dont use vision boards or physical journals. I like to put my vision board in my digital planner on my iPad. its more "fluid" for me

so i def used goodnotes as my digital "vision book" back when i had my ipad but because i stopped using the ipad as a productivity tool it became pretty useless.... how did i never think to pull out a sketchbook as my vision book.... a former computer graphics art student lmao
