I was bit late from that train and probably started to listen to them in around 1991. I got the copy of Keeper of the 7 keys part 1&2 on C-Cassettes. I need to start to listen to their whole discography again.

The drummer is the newest member who started 2005. The third guitarist, Sascha Gerstner joined the band 2003. The next newest member is Andi Deris. He joined 1994. Michael Kiske joined Helloween 1986 and left 1994. The two guitarists Michael Weikath and Kai Hansen (pink guitar) as well as the bassist, Markus Grosskopf are founding members. Kai Hansen left 1990 to found another band.

Ralf Scheepers was the original singer of Gamma Ray. Also present are their singer today Frank Beck. As someone else wrote check out Kai Hansen & Friends Live from Wacken - Victim Of Fate. An old Helloween song from the days when Kai Hansen was the singer.

Greetings and Love from Cologne, Germany again. Awesome reaction like always, my friends. After I discovered Iron Maiden in 1985, it was inevitable that I also became a Helloween fan. Because they both have a lot in common, which I love. The joy, the brotherhood, the energy, the love for their fans and of course their silliness when they are on stage together. Musically, what I love about both of them is their unmistakable guitar sound, the many gentle changes in a song and their brilliant lyrics. The fact that I am a big lover of the holiday 'Halloween' did the rest. Unfortunately, in the live video you chose, you didn't see much of the camaraderie and funny jokes that you're used to from Helloween. If you want to react to the other songs, then I would recommend you choose the following live performances. I saw Helloween in concert last year 2023. Best concert i have been to. They have tons of great songs. Watch Keeper of the Seven Keys from same concert. Similar epic song. The guitarist with the red guitar was the original singer. More of a speed metal band at first, songs like Ride the Sky. The younger guitar player has been with them for a long time, probably around 50 years old.

Kiske also recorded two albums with Amanda Somerville, the former Epica´s and Avantasia´s backing vocalist, in 2010 and 2015. These are from the second album (music videos). Kiske / Somerville - City Of Heroes (snappier) Kiske / Somerville - Walk on Water (closer to a ballad)

Great choice! But if you think that was a masterpiece check out Keeper of the 7 Keys live at Wacken from United Alive. It's just as much of a masterpiece or maybe even more. 2 more masterpieces are King for a Thousand Years from Live in three continents and How Many Tears live in Wacken (United Alive). Those are all epics. For something lighter and less busy try I Want Out studio version or from United Alive. Enjoy!

The core band have been together since 2005. The core band are: Dani Loble (drums/joined 2005) Sascha Gerstner (third guitars/joined 2003) Andi Deris (David Bowie type of vocals/joined 1994) Markus Grosskopf (bass guitar/founding member since 1984) Michael Weikath (second guitars/founding member 1984) They have been together two decades. You can hear how an intact band sounds.

Helloween are the creaters the fathers the kings of power meta...... Sepcialy when Michael Kiske enter in the band in 1987.... He change the history of the the havy..... Today is the genre of havy metal most played whith more bands in the world..... Also the sinfonic metal apears from the base off their sound...... And their álbum "Keeper of the seven keys" part 1 and two 87/88 is considered until today the master piece off the power, who inflluence many many bandas around the wolrd until todays..... Yes after the suicide of the Drummer Ingo Schwichtenberg they split .... Kai Hansen formed Gamma Ray and helped Blind Guardian and Avantasia. Michael Kiske turned some time his back to Metal and make years later Duets with Amanda Somerville and formed Unisonic. If you like this you can hear Gamma Ray, Blind Guardian, Avantasia, Unisonic oder Kiske/Somerville.

Helloween-Halloween from the Keepers off the seven keys part 1 record 1987. Written by Kai Hansen. Often said hes the godfather off Power Metal. Hansen left the band in late 1988. Due to manangment issues and internal issues. !989 was a time to kick back a bit for Kai, doin album stuff with Blind Guardian(Co wrote Valhalla with them one off the most famous Blind guardian songs) Kai formed Gamma Ray in late 1989/1990. Roland Graphow came in as a replacment for Kai Hansen. Micheal Kiske and Original drummer Ingo Schwichtenberg Got fired form the band in 1993 Both got Replaced by Andi Deris From the band Pink Cream 69 And Uli Kusch from the band gamma Ray. Ingo Schwichtenberg was let go due to schizophrenia, He was having real bad episodes on tour late 1992. he passed away in 1995( not go say how he passed away, its easy to look that up). the Time off the Oath record was dedicated to him. Graphow and Kusch were let go in 2001 after The dark ride record. Graphow was replaced by Sasha Gerstner and mark Cross. Cross got very ill during recordings off the Rabbit dont come easy record. that record was finished by Mikkey dee from Motorhead and Stefan Schwarzmann. The latter did the Rabbit dont come easy tour with helloween. Got let go due to musical differences. in 2005. Got replaced by Drummer Dani Löble from the band Rawhead Rexx. .Hansen shared the stage several times before in the past as he remained friends with Helloween. He did a tour with Helloween in 2006/2007 with his own band Gamma Ray. Kiske Moved away from Metal after he got kicked from Helloween. Kiske did his own solo thign for a while. got asked for guest singing on a few gamma Ray songs between 1995 and 2001. Hes been doin the Tobias Sammets Avantasia project since 2001. Started doin the Place vandome project with Pink Cream 69 members. Started doin another band with former Pink cream 69 members in 2009 called Unisonic. Kai Hansen joined Unisonic in 2011. In 2016 Kiske and Hansen rejoined Helloween for the Pumpkins united tour. This would mark the first time since 1989 that all members from the Keepers off the seven keys albums would share a stage together. Helloween now has 7 members. Micheal"weiki"weikitath on lead guitar. Markuss Grosskopf on Bass guitar Kai Hansen on lead guitar Sasha Gerstner on lead guitar. Dani Löble on drums, Micheal Kiske on vocals and Andi deris on vocals. After the pumpkins united tour wich ended in 2019 they opted to stick together. Made a record called Helloween wich was released in 2021. Toured the world again in 2022/2023. and are now working as a 7 piece band again for a studio record to be released somewhere in 2025.
