Thanks a lot for your recap. What a great idea and so well done! And I love your voice. So soothing! Oh Charlie's Angels! I loved them as a young teen more than four decades ago… Only four months ago I started re-watching season 1 to 3 and you know what? I love it as much as back in the day. Sabrina Duncan was my favorite Angel and she still is!! (that's why I only watch her episodes and not season 4-5. Can't bring myself to watch CA without her, no way!) I love Kate Jackson. Such a great actress. She's so cool in this episode. Well, she's always cool but here in that first scene with Bloody Mary she's especially amazing! And yes, hot! You mention the chemistry among Kate Jackson, Farrah Fawcett, Jaclyn Smith and Bosley. So true. It's so fun to watch them interact. Totally agree with you. Fun episode and the dynamic is wonderful!

Thank you! I'm enjoying watching the show again right from the beginning and sharing the reviews/recaps/reactions! Night of the Strangler will be dropping on Sunday! Sabrina was my favourite growing up but honestly I find something new to enjoy from each of the Angels every time I watch. Although Season 5 is mostly a stinker - I can't watch it either - not because of Tanya Roberts. The writers were so lazy - I really don't know why they bothered.

@@RetroQTV True. The writers were getting very lazy. The scripts were getting bad from season 3 (with a few exceptions) and then it went downhill with season 5 at its worst from what I hear. Season 1 certainly had a lot of great and fun episodes (also season 2). I look forward to your recap of "Night of the Strangler". Another good one :-)

Sabrina is my favorite angel, too! I could watch Kate Jackson act in this role all day long.

@@RetroQTV I can watch and enjoy almost any episode of the show. But there were a handful of episodes that I cannot deal with, "Moonshine Angels", "Stuntwomen Angels" and "Chorus Line Angels" were the worst and all from the 5th season. A barometer of how much effort the writers were putting in lies in the episode titles and the 3 I just cited were beyond insipid. The writers got so lazy inserting "angels" into every single title that I am actually surprised that "Mr. Galaxy" wasn't named "Bodybuilding Angels" instead! This detail is insignificant in a way, but for some reason I have always obsessed over it. A long way down from the cleverness of such 1st season episode titles as "Dancing in the Dark" and "Consenting Adults".

Kelly had the most hints at having an interesting backstory in the early episodes because she was kinda supposed to be the lead angel. But Kate Jackson, the one that had the most previous acting credits, was supposed to play Kelly. Kelly was originally written as a tough, street smart orphan from “the wrong side of the tracks” while Sabrina was the rich girl. For some reason, Kate Jackson insisted that she wanted to play the glamorous, high fashioned Sabrina and they accommodated her because she was their star. So in early episodes, you have a few allusions to Sabrina having wealthy parents. Kelly being an orphan KINDA stuck but only really in having empathy for abandoned or abused kids … and then being embroiled in a scam where it was thought she might be a lost heiress in a season 4 episode (spoiler: she wasn’t.) But Kelly being a “wild child” never really played out. There were hints of abuse with Beamish locking her in the closet (The Seance) but never any rebellious wild child history revealed. And then Kate who insisted she wanted to be Sabrina with the fancy clothes later decided she just wanted to wear a lot of turtlenecks and more casual clothes … and rich girl Sabrina was pretty much dropped. FWIW, the first movie version was closer to the original treatment: Drew Barrymore’s Dylan was more like what Kelly was supposed to be and Lucy Liu’s Alex was more like what Sabrina was supposed to be.

Isn't it funny that today we are told that in order for a woman character to be written a female must write the script, and YET, as we see here in this show, there are 3 strong female characters and each one has her own personality but the show was written by MEN. It was directed by MEN and the show is known today as a CLASSIC. It is shows like this that expose the LIES of today. Compare the writing of this show with She-Hulk which is being written by all females, and nothing about that show compares to this.
