First time I met an Angel het saved my LIFE from a severe beating from 6 skinheads. One word and they ran. Never forgot that. Second time was after my ex wife and mother of my daughter stepped out of life. Her best friend is married to an Angel. I never met the man but he said to me "if you ever feel so bad you don,t know what to do, come to our clubhouse. There is always some-one there. Just give him my name and things will work out fine". That was something I will never forget. I wear a 81 support patch with pride.

Hey Troy this is Jeff Yoder the ol'broke down scooter tramp, exbiker, Vietnam 🇻🇳 Era veteran, and I agree with what you're trying to say 💯percent because at one time I rode as an independent when I lived in Hollister California which is pretty much right in the center of what is loosely known locally as the Hells Angels Triangle 🔽 that goes from both sides of SanFrancisco bay area down to the Salinas, Monterey bay area ,and if you know the history of the Hells Angels you know that right after world War 2 ended the Hells Angels were "born " in the Hollister area and at one point in the late 50s there was a big conflict between the Angels and another group that made national news and a picture made the cover of Life Magazine with a story inside about the "biker war in Hollister California ",,which became the basis for the movie about the "war " starring Marlon Brando and Lee Marvin ,anyway as I was living in Hollister I rode as an independent as I said and as you can guess living and riding in the heart ♥ of the Hells Angels Triangle meant that it was almost impossible to not cross paths with them my main saving grace was I belong with MMA (Modified Motorcycle Association and met some of the Angels who belonged to chapters on both sides of the SanFrancisco bay area and the chatter down in the Salinas, Monterey bay area(only 35 miles from Hollister)and long story short after chance meetings at times in neutral bars and a few no colors inside bars and having been invited to various Agel,'s runs and/or rallies because of my MMA membership my riding as a independent was accepted and respected and along as I showed the proper respect when and where needed (which I knew to do anyway) I never had a problem being a nonAngel riding in the Angel's Triangle part of which was the only patch of any kind I ever had on my cut was the Harley Eagle holding the Harley emblem and other event and/or recognition type patches I got in various ways that are pretty much to be worn on the front of your cut and even throughout all the years I rode as an independent rider wearing that cut the only patch I ever had on the back was that Harley eagle 🦅 patch and the only other patches on that cut were the various ones I got in various ways that were front of the cut type patches and as long as I showed the proper respect when and where it was needed I never had a problem wherever I rode during my riding career even after the Red and Whites came to Phoenix to take control of Arizona again and I had met some of the Angels I knew and was introduced to others for what very little time I was still riding in this area before I basically retired from riding for a few reasons and now as I've said before at 72years old I've been "out of the saddle " long enough and at my age I'm past my riding days and it's OK 👌 because I've got lots of bittersweet memories of my "misspent youth to look back o for the time I have left to be able to look back at them and in what ever time I have left, and as best I can I plan on burning 🔥 up the airwaves (wifi and internet) as best as I can about my anger at the way my generation of veterans (Vietnam 🇻🇳 Era) have been treated by every one from the general public to the VA and other organizations that supposedly help veterans, but that's a different subject I don't want to get involved with here cause I know how easily I can get carried away once I get started, so bye 👋 y'all and I hope I didn't piss y'all off too bad with my ramblings, bye 👋 y'all and don't have too much fun without me and who knows maybe I'll check back in on y'all later sometime, bye 👋 for now and have a good one

Be respectful, don't ask silly questions, have fun and get out of there. I try to limit my exposure. The more you're around, the more bad things can happen. With that said, I like being around at the same time. I grew up with a couple of these guys and we are still friends to this day. I just chose to never ride anything on 2 wheels. Want to thank you for sharing your knowledge with us. Looks like others could use this knowledge. I’m an independent rider who has chosen to NOT purchase patches online and the only patches or pins on my cut are from various places I have visited. I learned this from your vids. I’ve also learned how to respect other riders or MC’s that may come up behind me and if I’m not traveling as fast as they are then I pull to the side and signal them to pass. Not because I’m soft, but because it’s a respect thing. I learned about respect first in the penitentiary when I first dropped in ‘77. Thank you. I always followed my older cousin, yeah, I was the pesky kid. He always seemed to have a Harley, and got into the club life. He took pains to keep me out of that side of him, we just seemed to go in different ways. He stayed with Harley’s, I went with tractors. I’d call him a couple times a year, chat for a bit. Visited him in the hospital after a BAD wreck, one that eventually took his life. I saw things at his funeral I didn’t understand. When I spoke of my memories, I asked that anybody who wanted to come talk to me about him, please, tell me about my cousin. Several of his brothers did, l learned a little more about him that day. Your channel gives me more information on the lifestyle Jim led, I think of him often as I listen to you. Thank you. RIP James Ludwig.

I just started riding a couple months ago, I’m not in a heavy MC type area at all, but there’s no way I’m wearing anything that could even be remotely mistaken as MC colors or patches. Why anyone wants to start shit by themselves is beyond me. I don’t understand why dudes who ride “for fun” insist on putting on patches and shit, nobody that’s not in an MC thinks it’s cool and anybody in one is gonna have a problem. Their opinion on whether or not they gotta answer to a local club isn’t going to stop them from getting stomped or worse

We were at an amusement park with friends and small children. Our friend had a blue handkerchief hanging from his pocket. He wore it on rides to keep his hair out if his face. A guy came up to him with his friends and told him to put it inside his pocket unless he wanted beef. My friend put it away and there was no other problem. This shows what u r saying is 100%.
