Don't worry, baby Moxxie "only" killed a random Imp. Look at the Legs, the Imp Moxxie throws in has normal Legs, while Moxxie and his Mother have these wierd Animal Legs. And yes, I do watch closly for Imp Legs, since Moxxie is rather unique with his leg designe.

the imp also had a male horns, they were saw off, but there was thick white piece (stripe) it still doesn't change the fact that he made his own kid kill someone. Crimson is not just shitty father and mobster, but also psychopath obsessed with control. ...and of course Bigot who does not even try to understand his son (granted the term he used "beard") which was often used for a gay man in heterosexual relationship, as a coverup
@Omn1Media6 ай бұрын
So I noticed that but the muffled voice sounded feminine to me. We saw earlier in the episode is dad would disguise people to manipulate Moxxie into killing people. I wholly believe that this is the mother but with false horns and legs, hence the full body sack. If he'd previously killed his mother off screen, I would imagine that the shoe would already be on the surface just like all the other victims shown but it only surfaces after the bag is thrown into the water. Argument against that would also be that the body disturbing the water could have rattled it free allowing it to float to the top for the revelation. I'd love for it to be a random imp but the way the scene plays out along with his fathers disgust for his wife and kid's relationship as well as his narcissistic and sadist behavior just doesn't make me think that is the case. It's obviously up for interpretation but I definitely took the much darker route. 😭 Update: As for the tail, you could easily cover the real tail with a sleeve or even worse, the actually skin of another Imp's tail and it would move as if it was hers. Think leggings but for a tail.

@thebeardedbrony9586 That too is an easy thing to fake. Put the real tail into a sleeve or even worse, another Imps degloved tail and it would move as if it was hers because it is just with a "skin glove" on it Update: I don't know what it says about me that this is where my brain goes! haha

Not so fun fact- When Crimson says he doesn't care about Moxxie's "beard," he's saying he thinks his marriage to Millie is meant to hide the fact that he's "gay," the way a beard hides someone's face. He's saying he sees their relationship as fake and therefore doesn't respect it.

The show is just…so gay too. Like the casualness of the LGBTQ characters and their moments is what gets me, like I haven’t seen this EVER on tv before. And even Millie and Moxxie’s crossdressing in episode 5!!! It’s just so casual in the way they present them in that episode! I’ve NEVER seen that done in tv, as scenes like that ALWAYS are played off as a joke. But here it was treated SOO casually, and none of that degrading humor was seen. I really appreciated it.
@Jaguar4706 ай бұрын
And I LOVE Millie and Moxxie switching gender clothes! This show is just so much more gay than regular tv, so it just casually makes them wear gender swapping clothes and doesn’t make a big deal about it! Which I LOVE. This show is just so casual with LGBTQ stuff, and it’s so unlike anything on tv it’s unbelievable, and Millie and Moxxie switching clothes in this just further proves that, especially with how casually it is done. No comment about it from either of them or Blitz, and they are just doing regular stuff with the clothing on. It’s so unlike anything I’ve seen on tv or movies, where a character wearing clothes of the opposite gender like that takes any time it can to make a joke out of it (especially with guys). It’s just…made into a sensation. And that is nowhere to be seen in Unhappy Campers, and that’s why I love that episode. I just appreciate that a lot.

You want to pause and take in everything from every frames ? Do it. If you want to put the video on pause to google some information about a new character that was just introduced ? Do it. You want to stay quite all along and let the show running without pausing ? Do it. Even if you miss some stuff now, it doesn’t mean you cant go back to it later. Why does everyone think Moxxie killed his mom? If you look at the horns on the demon in the boat with the bag over his head, if you look at the base, he has white strips, indicating that the demon in the boat is male, you can even hear that his voice is deeper. No the guy Moxxie killed was just some guy who owed Crimson money, Crimson killed his wife himself, the shoe came out of the bag that Crimson had with him

Because the white strips on the horns is such a small detail that it can easily be missed by someone who is emotionally invested in "where the heck is mom". The flashback is most likely intentionally designed to make that the audience's gut reaction, the details you mentioned are bonus re-watch value (and to give extra observant audiences something to pat themselves on the backfor). Regardless if the audience notices the discrepancies or comes out thinking that the imp was the mom, the scene hits home that mom is murdered and Moxxie has trauma.

NO, Moxie didnt kill his mom, if you go back and look at her in the portrait and the one he pushed into the lake thier horns dont match at all, his mother had much smaller horns and were placed diferently than than ones who was in the boat.

Just to make it clear, because a of people make this mistake, the imp that Moxxie is forced to drown is his mother. There are visual indicators of it not being her; this imp has male horns and a different body type. The shoe of his mother surfacing it simply to confirm for the audience that his mother was killed by Crimson the same way. Just clearing that up for you and anyone else who may have thought the same thing!

It wasnt his mom Crimson killed her before but he did make him kill someone else but her shoe floats up from when she disappeared before. Still completely messed up and so sad I feel so bad for Moxxie
@skysorrow90416 ай бұрын
Moxie didn't kill his mother, the imp he drowned was male. You can tell by the patterns on the horns, males have thick white & black bands, while females have almost entirely black with thin white lines (unless trans). The implication is that Crimson had already drowned her before they rowed out, & the new victim he forced Moxie to push over disturbed her body on the way down, making her shoes float to the surface.
@chaosspear01956 ай бұрын
Moxxies moms shoe floated up due to the water being agitated but the one moxie was forced to drown was male grey skinned if you look at the tail wrapped around the block his mothers skin was a tradition red shade plus the muffled voice was male and the broken horns had the male pattern. A tell sign of this show in terms of male and female anatomy for imps is the stripes pattern and size in the horns. Male imps have bigger thicker and have a thick white strip in the pattern females have smaller leaner horns with pretty thin lines . Millie’s sister is an exception via the facts shes a trans woman not a biological one plus the lower feature in the standy when shes in swim wear.

The person young Moxie killed was NOT his mom. His mother was already missing before this. Plus the shoe shows up farther out in the water than where they dumped the unknown imp. Meaning the shoe had just coincidentally detached from the mom and floated to the top. There’s also the physical differences between the unknown imp and Moxie’s mom that us as watchers can see.

Even with the horns sawn off, the imp moxie killed was male (the white bands left at the base are too thick to be an afab imp) Crimson probably somehow planned her shoe to come up when he took Moxie out to drive home what happened to his mother
@helenanilsson56666 ай бұрын
I don't think he could have planned for that. The implication is plenty clear for Moxie regardless, the shoe was floating up for our benefit in the audience because you know there will be a chorus of "she's not dead, she just abandoned Moxie" fan theories otherwise.

One little detail i love about the scene where moxxie and Blitz met is moxxie is still distraught untilled Blitz mentions the reason he needs to get out of prison is to take care of his daughter and as someone who grew up with a horrible abusive father seeing a guy be super passionate about getting back to his kid must have given him hope and trust in Blitz und you can just see that hesitant smile grow on mixxies face 🥺🥰 It's also the headcanon i have that that's the reason moxxie doesn't really get along with loona. He sees the way Blitz is with her which is a parent relationship that he would have killed for and sees loona's behavior and probably feels like she doesn't appreciate what she has which pisses him off but what he can't quite see cause he can't see past his own trauma ist that loona's behavior is also a defense mechanism born of trauma. Aaaanyways😅

Hey ! I m only in the intro of the video but I just wanted to say : man NEVER STOP PAUSING through the episode if you feel like pausing !! This is 100% worth it! First, if for you it's your way to enjoy it the most and a way of getting a better understanding of what's happening (in text and subtext) then oh my god go for it aaaaaannddd idk but I feel like it's also so entertaining for the audience? beind able to get a real view on the thoughts, the theories etc, this is the best (plus come on, we ain't gonna pretend we don't do the same) Personally I watch reactions especially for that part, the understading and the ideas that come immediatly in the episode Plus Helluva Boss is a show that **lives** through details, foreshadowing and intuition, I feel like it's actually **needed* to search through details, to do your own thought process and theories to entirely understands what it's talking about, it gives clues to it's audience and watching someone pausing to pick up on them is the absolute best feeling istg So yeah, this is so cool, if you like pausing, never stop !!

Even if that bagged imp was not his mother, I can now see why he didn't want to kill Martha. It'd make sense that he thought he was forced to kill his own mother and it hit him too hard... Oh yeah! This also explains why Moxxie was so good at talking like a mobster in episode 1 too!

There’s a theory going around that Moxxie’s mother might still be alive and that one of his dad’s shark goons might have saved her because he might have fallen in love with her. The second theory is that striker might also be Moxxie’s brother and that one of his parents could either be Moxxie’s mother or Dad. Most people believe it’s Moxxie’s mother who is the parent of striker. The reason is because they both have similar horns.

We don’t know if the Imp Moxxie was forced to kill WAS his mother, but you can imagine how f’d up and traumatic it’d be for any child to witness their mother’s shoe surface from a murky pond of dead bodies…This also gives a good reason for why Moxxie hesitated from killing Martha, the Murder Family Matriarch in S1E1. He saw a wife and mother of 2, whom-before she dropped the act, seemed like a caring soul like his own late-mother. And if he blames himself for his mother’s death, it makes sense why he hesitated killing Martha at first.

I can give you one ray of light, the Imp that moxxie threw into the water was definitly not his mother. The Horns had the thick black and white stripes of a male. Still, there is definitly the implication that crimson _did_ kill the mom, though the community is still tentatavely on the "no body, no death?" train.
@RoxasOnSummerVacation6 ай бұрын
It's possible that Moxxie actually didn't kill his own mother. It's not proven and may just be an animation error but the tail of the imp Moxxie threw off the boat was different than his mothers tail. I don't doubt that his mom is dead though. She could have been killed earlier and her shoe had just floated up.
@davidisaac94086 ай бұрын
Yeah, it is 100% not his mother. Male voice, male horns different clothes and different legs. His mother and Moxxie have the same legs.
@RoxasOnSummerVacation6 ай бұрын
@@davidisaac9408 The horns were cut at the base so I can't be entirely sure if they were male horns. Also, people can change their clothes. And male voice? There was no voice. If you're talking about the actor who did the muffling noises then you do know that people can play the voice of an opposite gender, right?. The only things I see are the tail and legs, and like I said, it could be an animation error. Until it is confirmed by Vivziepop I won't be persuaded into believing anything.
