HELLUVA BOSS - OOPS // S2: Episode 6 - Blitzo and Fizzarolli are kidnapped by Crimson and Striker, who demand a large ransom from Asmodeus in exchange for Fizzarolli's release. With no one else coming to their rescue, Blitzo and Fizzarolli have to work together to save themselves, reconciling their past friendship in the process. Meanwhile, Stolas visits Asmodeus to request a crystal that would allow Blitzo to freely traverse between Hell and Earth.

One thing that is interesting to think about this episode is that it implies that Fizz was Blitz’s first crush. The letter had a heart on it, and read “For Fizz’s eyes only.” And at the beginning of Fizz’s song, when he twirls and dips Blitz, Blitz smiles lovingly up at Fizz.

Loo-Loo land hits so much different after seeing this episode. Also, if you look closely as Blitzø’s mouth during the flashback he says these two things: 1. “Fizz!!” 2. “Mom…”

Yeah, and you can even see it on the storyboard for this scene that the artist who worked on it shared, its littérale written on the story board that Blitz is asking for help from the people running away from the fire, saying ‘fizz’ to alert the others that Fizz is in danger and needs help. But then you see him look the other way and answer say “mom”. That’s when he realise his mom is in danger and he runs away from fizz.

I think one of my favorite things about Blitzø's character is this episode is his maturity in handling the mending of his past relationship with Fizz, since the last meaningful thing that happened before the fireworks explosion was Blitzø's supposed love letter to Fizz. 😭 I want to know more about what was in that letter he was holding. Like the idea that there was a potential relationship between equals as imps as teenagers to Blitzø in the present accepting the fact that Fizz has moved on. It'll be interesting to see whether or not Blitzø heeds it as an example of what he could have with Stolas.

If it is a love letter, and it probably is, Blitzø's entire pathology makes so much sense. The last time he tried to confess feelings, people fucking died. Closeness is bad. He can't afford to love if it's going to get people killed. And if Stolas can get hurt... then he can't have feelings for him, either.

Blitz reconnecting with Fizz is such a HUGE deal - because they knew each other as children, Fizz is like UNIQUELY equipped to knock Blitz's walls down, having known him as a person before any of those walls were even BUILT. It's why he was able to get to the heart of the matter and get a genuine response out of Blitz so quickly. It's a huge first step in addressing the root of his trauma, which he NEEDS to start the healing process in order to foster any healthy relationships moving forward. I want to believe in the future this even will lead Blitz and Stolas to a happy and healthy place... I just think it's going to take a lot more time for us to get there. I think it's too easy for Blitz to see the crystal as a means to distance himself from him - a form of rejection. The transactional aspect of their hookups isn't right, but it's COMFORTABLE for Blitz that way too. No attachment needed, the rules are all made clear for him. By changing things, that's very scary for Blitz. I just don't think it's going to go well at first. But hopefully, eventually, they will be okay.

Yes! I have a suspicion that "apology tour" will be when he tries to sort things out with Verosica. And/or Stolas, but given that she was in the trailer I strongly suspect that she will be in the episode with "tour" in the title. After how bad things went when he tried to find Barbie I really hope that he can at least settle things to the point where they wont hate each other, regardless if they can salvage some kind of friendship or not.

Someone might have pointed this out, but to touch on the...'Utility', of the Oz-crystals, I think that was just the case of that one particular incubus Blitz was shaking down in episode 5, as Barbie also had an Oz-crystal and she seemed to be wearing it on her wrist, if I recall correctly. I'm guessing where one keeps the crystal on their person is down to an individual choice.

35:15 This is why I don’t watch Sarcastic Chorus anymore. Not only is he overly negative, but he doesn’t seem to actually understand what he’s watching. My thought is that Blitzø's sister blames him for killing their mom, and that his father blames him for damaging their best performer. They're the "they" that kept Blitzø and Fizz from seeing each other after the accident in the beginning, and Blitzø and Fizz just kept it going because each thought the other hated them.

After this episode and the next one it's extremely evident why Blitzø hates so much the Robo Fizz, they're sex dolls made with the image of his best friend and crush. Fizz was such a cutie, and Blitzø was protective of him getting rid of creeps, and hated the idea of him being exploited to gain fame....and when Blitzø disappears from his life that's exactly the path Fizz takes. Of course Blitzø would want to burn every robot he crosses paths with.

I've been watching your content for more than a year, and just now I've noticed the omegamon figurine behind you thanks to your camera focus The white parts of Blit's and Fizz's faces are burnmarks, that's how imps scar. And the reason why Fizz has a red nose it's because that was the only part of him that was covered during the fire thanks to his clown nose
