I feel this episode did what it was supposed to. It focused on their mission and how they get stuff done. Introduce the cherubs which is a group we didn’t know about but brings heaven into the mix in the show. There was no great emotional character moments, but it was a simple fun episode. Not my favorite but not boring

Don't know if you guys found out since, but Cherubs in Biblical lore are the famous baby angels in paintings. In the Hierarchy of Angels, they are second place in the 3rd tier (which is the highest tier) of angels and are said to be the bodyguards of God. The Valintine angel is actually Cupid, which is from Roman mythos, son of Mercury the Winged Messenger and Venus the Goddess of Love.

I worked on stage crew for years a middle school high school. And now in college those lights are hot and very heavy those lights can get pretty hot 100+ degrees Fahrenheit. One time Wilbur lights I took am next to it with those laser thermometers to it and developer maxed out at 500 degrees Fahrenheit and it said Max. Those eyes get very hot and they're really hard to operate if you don't know what you're doing. I've been on the stage crew for the years so I know what to operate the lights. Been so good at that they actually promoted me to head I'm stage crew. The lighting is the most important part at the work on the anything else. After line setup then the sounds next then the actors get all their stuff around then it's it. Me and the director are always at the table working on stuff. But for rehearsals and performances. Me and the producer have a radio honored hips trying to get everything just right

People have thought of this Episode as the weakest of the Season, but personally I find the C.H.E.R.U.B rather interesting, what do you think? Also, that commercial in the beginning, had some stuff in the background. Also, keep a eye out for Wally Wackford, he appears in more than one Episode.

Me personally, I find it the weakest because it doesn't really do much, you can skip this episode and really miss nothing. Not to mention some major holes like why not just use the de-ageifer and put it to young, or why would the imps even entertain this whole thing given they could just shoot him and be done with it (although it could seem like something for Blitz to do to humor them and play along). Also it just seems to be the way I see it, but the cherubs are just very annoying for me. The episode just doesn't hold me like the others do. Oh yeah, and wally wackford literally had no point to be in this episode. He made a 5 second appearance in the beginning just so he can appear at the end to give an "end" to the episode so we know what the dead inventors are up to in hell. He feels very hamfisted.

@@thegoose1005 1) one theory I had was that the machine wasn’t ready yet (maybe needed to find a way to reverse the results), maybe the machine was taken by the government or sold of to 2) yeah I don’t know why they didn’t kill him once at his house. They kind of seemed afraid initially but then just continue to do the opposite of spite perhaps 3) Yeah I can see why they are annoying to people. I think viv did it on purpose to see how “innocent/child like” a cherub is suppose to be 4) the Wally wackford is just a nitpick. But he didn’t play a big role and he’s just a gag character. Although I think it tied well to the ad he put on tv and what the two engineers said

So regarding the forest scene where nature goes psycho, it's my personal headcanon that because imps are hell-born when they come to earth they bring a certain Hell Vibe with them that just kinda makes the living things revert back to their more primal instincts. Because - ignoring that it's a cartoon and the entire scene was for comedic and gruesome effect - there's no reason all of those animals should have behaved like they did. Unless they had a little bit of external, Hellish help. Plus it would just explain why humans in general behave a certain way when certain Hell people surface. With Verosika's gang, they got super horny because succubuses just have that effect. It would be super cool to have a more filler scene where this happens again.

This is a weak episode for many people because although it introduced some new characters who we assume are going to return at some point and gave us our first look into the other side of things (heaven), it seemed slapped together, adding very little to the plot and depth we've seen up to this point. We had to wait however long for a new episode to come out; after episode three, Spring Broken, we looked at actual character development and emotional depth between Blitz and Loona, and then the next thing we see is this; an episode filled with slapstick. Then we had to wait for episode five to see if the show would go back to or improve on its original quality from before episode four. It's disappointing, to say the least. If they just wanted to introduce the C.H.E.R.U.B s and give us a look at heaven, they could've done it in a much better way; I.M.P could've had an actual contract they themselves needed to kill, and C.H.E.R.U.B succeeded in protecting that target and returning to heaven having cost I.M.P money and reputation, thus creating a rivalry.
