I love this music and the animation so much. Bryce really brought so much emotion into Stolas’ voice and the lyrics are really deep. You can instantly tell how much pain he's in questioning his relationship with Blitzø.

Yess finally!!! Also, since it's been a while since the last episode, the crystal Stolas opened at the beginning is the asmodeus crystal he got from Ozzie (it was mentioned in either episode 6 or 7) to give to Blitz so he can travel to earth freely without needing Stolas's book. So he's going to cut off their full moon arrangement and let Blitz decide if he still wants to even be around him with no strings. Annnnd based on the trailer I'm not sure how well that's going to go.

Yea so the arrangement where they f*ck every full moon so that Blitz can get the book so that he can go to earth, he no longer will need the book cuz Stolas is gonna be giving him the crystal. And we can see in the show that every time they meet, it's for a reason like money for example or the episode where they meet Millie's parents, Stolas goes there for a reason. The only time we see them go out for fun, is on their "date" which went badly. So now after Blitz takes the crystal, he can kinda choose if he wants to see Stolas anymore. Now everyone is just waiting to see what'll happen

the song start as a fansong from Paranoid DJ. and then the team did a few change to the lyricks so it was cannon and about blizt instead of Octavia and Stolas. he wrote it as first as a song from a father to his daughter

Bryce is in fact putting on a voice! It's very impressive, but also as a voice actor who has had vocal training I was actually taught when singing classical music that adopting British English pronunciation makes for cleaner, more pleasant sounding vocals. I'm not sure if that is common practice in vocal training but my coach was very adamant about that.

its funny because a lot of british singers almost put on an american accent. Not all of them and you can definitely still tell, but they sound a lot more american than their normal speaking voice at least.

The thing in the box at the beginning is an asmodean crystal. Its what Stolas was asking from Ozzie in S2 E6! Its so Blitzø can travel to the human world without having to go to Stolas for his Grimoire

Bryce is definitely doing a posh British accent as Stolas, and he's honestly quite good at it (he's American.) Actually most of the Goetia VA's are pretty damn good at doing the accent. The only confirmed Brit in the main cast at the moment is Stella! (I am not sure about Andrealphus. The VA is Jason LaShea but I've no idea of his nationality, he's not been onscreen relatively long yet.)

I got the honor of meeting Bryce Pinkham at a convention and it was amazing. Stolas is my absolute favorite character and at the end Bryce even told me it was nice meeting me in his Stolas voice. I was giddy the entire day because of that

This song started as a fan song. Vivziepop and the team liked it so much that they made it an official canon song. They only tweaked a few things from the original, mainly to fit it into the mid-season 2 status quo of the show, whereas the original song was written near the end of season 1.

He got it from Asmodeus after the Fizzoralli and Blitz episode (the one with striker and Moxies dad) if I am not mistaken. (He also got it off screen but it was implied from this that he got it from him and contemplating giving it to him and breaking the tie that makes them have a relationship)

The best song in this entire show, in my honest opinion. Stolas has the most emotionally driven music, and this hits ESPECIALLY hard. Not to mention the gorgeously made animation! I love that Viv chose a fan song for this (with some minor, good lyrical tweaks). It's truly a beautiful one

For once I have issues with talking, especially since you guys havent seen this before XD I guess I'm just use to other reactors actually taking the music in and focusing on how much pain Stolas is going through (not to mention the incredible visuals, the animators REALLY stepped up their game for this). This song is gorgeous and heartfelt, so I'm surprised it didn't catch y'all that off guard.

YESSSS!! I love this song! I bought the limited edition merch when this first came out. I well up and cry whenever this song plays properly. Bryce's voice is so powerful and beautiful. From what I hear he does change his voice and sings in a voice not his own. Many went into denial this song symbolized what might be coming, a potential break up. I felt it was an ominous sign. So happy you finally saw. Also can we not just scream how gorgeous this video is?

I don’t agree that Blitz is using the class divide as an excuse. Stolas calls him an impish little plaything, and calls imps “little creatures.” If Blitz thinks Stolas sees him as some working class sex toy, it’s because he has given him those mixed messages. People see Blitz as the asshole in the situation, but they’re not thinking about his side of things.

i don't think stolas care as much about the hierarchy ranks as people believe, after a point in season 1 he's been trying to open up to blitz and move to a different relationship point from the transactional one. he's always had feelings for blitz and he caught major feels, he never tries to hide it, even in front of others he's open about being attracted to him and wanting to be with him, never denying what others are saying about them. he's also been trying really hard to talk to blitz about making it an actual relationship. blitz however has a lot of self hatred and loathing it seems like, he puts on a tough guy facade to keep people at arms length and push them away when he feels like he's getting attached or the partner is catching feels. He seems like someone who wants to find his person, but he doesn't want to be hurt or hurt them in return. he doesn't want someone to be attached but he doesn't want to be alone forever. this song hit the feels really hard, stolas is probably my favorite character, i feel like in the end, stolas and blitz are meant to be since he got under blitz skin pretty well, but their gonna have a huge rough patch. T_T

Remember that Blitzø doesn’t know that Stolas has feelings for him and that Stolas, unfortunately, gave off a huge impression that Blitzø is just a plaything to him that first season. They haven’t seen each other since that night at Ozzie’s except for Seeing Stars where they didn’t talk about any of it. He knows he has feelings but he thinks Stolas would never return them. 😭

In terms of voice actor talent, I tend to fall back on 2 specific actors; Billy West, and Frank Welker. The former is probably best known for his role as Fry in Futurama, but he also voices Professor Farnsworth, Zoidberg, Zap Brannigan, and a whole crop of minor characters. What makes this impressive is that he has trained to switch voices on the fly, and there are examples of him acting out entire scenes by himself, just switching between voices as he goes. Frank Welker...let me put it this way. If a director needs someone to sound like a dog with a head cold, a parrot with perfect pitch, or Gargamel's cat Azrael, they call Frank. The guy's a legend, and has voiced characters like Megatron in the Transformers cartoon(s), plus a truly terrifying number of roles spanning decades.

Yep, Fill Moon is coming soon and it's gonna be heartbreaking, that's for sure. What I love more about this song is how Stolas is aware that Blitz is putting up a front to hide his insecurities and pain. He is willing to let him go so he can try to be happy, knowing that he might do everything right and Blitz would still reject the happiness he can offer him. I want them to be happy so much but I know Blitz needs to forgive himself first. And I'm so glad Fizz is back in his life !

oh OH YOU HADN'T - So the S2 trailer probably was a slightly different experience (And maybe you didn't remember the Asmodean crystal yet) Ah my reactors are getting mixed up- I can't remember who I've seen and what 2:01 👌🏾 4:30 👏🏾 Also, I didn’t watch it immediately, but more because i was scared of the emotion

With this song and the recent trailer, you know it is going to get emotional in the next episodes. And honestly, I think that is a logical way to take their relationship. Both characters need to take an honest look at what they truly want from the relationship. I do think Stolas has a firmer grasp on his desires now than he did at the beginning of the show, where I do think he really was primarily interested in sex with Blitz. But now he wants to see what a true emotional connection could be like, no longer wanting their relationship to be based on a simple tit for tat. But Blitz still needs to come to grips with his own personal issues for that to work. As Stolas says in this song, Blitz has conjured up walls so that he can function. He hates himself so much that he has grown to believe no one could possibly want him for himself. It must be for something else. I always felt that a true confrontation over what they truly desire of each other would result in at the very least "taking a break" in their relationship. I think this is necessary for them, in particular Blitz, to fully realize what they want from each other and their relationship going forward. In short, cannot wait to see what happens next!😁
