Everyone seems to overlook the fact that Stella put a hit on Stolas before this. Her threats shouldn't be taken lightly. Everyone mentions how abusive she is, but then forget she paid to have him killed. She's probably much worse than on screen. During the first few episodes, I felt sorry for her because of her cheating husband. But between the Harvest Moon festival and this, all pity was brutally murdered.

I speak from experience here - when they flinch at a raised hand- at some point, it wasn't just a threat. If they recoil from sudden movement- It means they are expecting random violence. When they finally fight back - it's always been a long time coming, And too late to change what they've already been through.

Poor Stolas he lived his personal hell for 17 years married to Stela. Seriously, this Stela is worse than Amber Heard. I'm glad that after so much abuse our prince has finally freed himself and divorced this thing called Stela. And what a good feeling to see Our Prince defending himself against this cretin, showing that he will no longer put up with any kind of abuse from this Female Monster!

I've never understood why Stella calls him a traitor, maybe embarrassment because imps are considered the lower class of demons in hell and therefore to royalty it can be seen as an embarrassment when a royal family member has relations with one but where does the Traitor come from? he's not betraying her because there was no love or compassion between the two to start, like he said it wasn't her nor his choice for them to be together and as far as the goetia family is concerned they already did their duty by making an heir to the family so who in the heck is he betraying?

your initial assumption was correct imps are seen as lower class, Stella is concerned about the image, she believes he betrays the idea of a goetia or at least the idea of royalty or it could just be another insult

As Lucius above said, Stella is calling him a traitor more so to the *_Goetia_* name then he was to *_HER._* His betrayal wasn't about their marriage, because it's very blatantly obvious she didn't give a fuck about that. His betrayal is about their *_status_* since he slept with, what is essentially, a _commoner,_ INSTEAD of royalty. I'm almost certain she *_expected_* Stolas to cheat on her at some point, but she thought he'd do it with someone of equal status. For him to cheat on her with *_literally ANYONE else_* is absolutely an insult to HER position. Of course, Stolas doesn't give a fuck about that, & it's certainly her own damn fault for it though.

If you notice, that palace had always been for Stolas. He is in a family of demon princes which is like the third highest tier. So he has some real expensive stuff.

It is possible that since a lot of Hell does revolve around human sinners in some way, the demons have taken on the human calendar as time has gone on. And, in a lot of mythos' where characters are functionally immortal, but still grow up, they age at a rate similar to humans for a while then stop. Not sure that's what's happening here, but it tends to be a way to just connect the characters with the audience. Humans like to put a timeline on things. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Also I don't think it has actually been that long since Blitzø stole the book from Stolas. Octavia (and her room) looked about the same where we saw her here as she did in the Loo Loo land episode, so she has to be at least a teenager already. Point being that, from my interpretation, it's only been like a year or two max since Blitzø stole the book to when he and Stolas had their ill-informed 'date' and Stolas and Stella have their confrontation at the end of the episode. But I can't find anything describing how long IMP has actually been in business. Also, I gotta say I wasn't expecting baby Fizz to be so precious.
