Their influences are all over the place. Mudvayne's singer, Pantera's drummer, Troy Sanders' from Mastodon's brother (sorry, LOL, idk what he was from prior to that) among others. Hellyeah's technically considered a supergroup based on the reputations the members have from work done in other bands.

Saw these guys live on there tour with Brook Royal, Godsmack, and Staind. They were great live and the singer made sure there was never a dull moment. Well, I think anyone who compares a band that has already achieved legendary status with a brand new band is pretty damn stupid on their part!! Unfair doesn't even begin to cover the word understatement! They have just formed this band, not that it hasn't been recognized yet but they just started making music together!!?! I mean, whoever in the fuck thinks they're comparable needs to actually listen to a little music before opening their mouth!!?! Just because bands share the same members, doesn't mean they have a damn thing to do with a comparison between the two bands! That would be referred to as a familiar face which means they've been seen before(famous)! It worries me that people comment on the two bands all over there reply section, and the dumbasses think that makes them the same kind of band and has to be compared!! I'm like there are more dumbasses in the world than anything, but statements like this remind me that I have exactly no clue on how big of an epidemic stupidity has become!! The really funny thing about every video you will see has at least one comparison on them, and I'm like they aren't even in the same genre which a kid would have noticed probably by looking at the bands photos alone!! I mean this is a true damn super group, give them time to learn each other which is just as big part of the music as the lyrics or anything would be!!?! Actually, I would say that it's more important because a tight band has to know what the other person will do!! I mean shit the first couple of albums weren't total shit just far to common for these Metal Monsters! They newer album is getting to the point where I want them to float around at which will probable lead to more aggressive lyrics because these guys personalities are aggressive to say the least!! LOLO! Check out the new singles Human and X, they were great with Vinnie getting his powerhouse vibe to crush your skull!! I have been waiting patiently for that! I think this band will be real good! Give them time, if they keep the Pantera and Mudvayne vibes thrown in to their own thing will be another gem that won't be replicated if they tried or at least I don't think so!!
