some things said on this video is a bit wrong and i wanted to make it clear first of all 1.DOT is not the highest rating it is the lowest rating that you can give a helmet ECE is better that DOT and the highest rating is SNELL which is american standards, GOOGE IT!. 2.DONOT machine wash the padding inside a helmet only hand wash it with hot water without soap or detergent . 3.DONT even think about getting a half helmet or modular(flip-up) helmet , even if you ride a bullet or harley . i dont mean any disrespect to anyone just wanted to say it.

nilesh zope I own Avenger 150, many fellow rider do recomends SMK Twister. For me I have high breathing problem so it always fogs up in my steelbird helmet, please consider this on long ride, currently only smk provides pinlock fitted with their helmet. Also normal visor for smk is available at rs. 600 & separate pinlock at 900 & 1600 different version. So they are still affordable.

First of all the ECE certified helmets are better than DOT certified. SMK helmet with ECE certified is 4,200 because it is made in India and THH is imported that's why it's expensive and one thing is. There is no basic features in THH which is present in SMK. Expensive thing means it is not like safer than cheap things.

The 1st helmet is the smk twister. It saved my life when I crashed at high speed. I fell face first on the tarmac and the foam padding were thick enough so I didn't get a scratch. Despite of that I was surprised that the helmet did not get damaged.
