I went through this phase but crying and praying to Allah to help me believe really helped me. At that time even when I read the Quran meaning, because I don't know Arabic I only come up with doubt and more doubt and I believe that was shaitan. So I prayed to Allah to strengthen my iman and help me believe I prayed Tajjud and I would just cry because I know I want to believe but I just didn't, but now I have no doubt I dont even know when that doubt vanished. Another thing that also helped was that I decided to "hear and Obey" and not Question anything anymore, that really worked. Also going through the Seerah of the prophet (SAW) increased my Love for Islam. I feel so much peace in my life now that I feel fear in the mere thought of losing my Islam. And Also doing alot of Adkir worked so much for me. I pray Allah (swt) remove doubt from the heart of us all.

@@jesan733 I think this comment needs clarification. Islam teaches us to think critically so we should absolutely think critically. The problem here is that after accepting Islam and coming to the conclusion that Allah is the creator and the Prophet Muhammad SAW being the last messenger, then one should do as you say: Listen and Obey.

When I have doubt, I just remember the Shirah. Imagine a man that is so noble and kind and trustworthy, he never lied, his people love him, and then one day, suddenly he said that he was sent by Allah. Imagine this person goes to all those suffering and struggle to remain consistent with the message, even after the Quraish compromise and offer riches. Imagine this person who has no history of poetry at all, yet suddenly manage to "write" the Quran. Imagine again that this person, after gaining victory near the end of his life, still lived a very simple and struggling life. The prophet's kindness is his miracle. The chance that a person like this telling a lie for 23 years just so that he lived pretty poor until the end of his life is practically null. And about the "science" part, well sure, modern science can't prove God. But, absence of evidence is not evidence of absence. These atheist who are so sure that God does not exist are themselves unscientific, because the evidence of said absence does not exist. if they stay true to scientific thinking, they should at least be open minded.

You're accepting a self-glorifying sectarian narrative as historical truth. Why? Because in your sectarian environment, you've convinced each other that the sirah couldn't have been substantially sugarcoated, because you tell each other that your early sect members were so truthful and noble so they would object to inaccuracies rather than loyally add on and retransmit sugarcoatings. The problem is not absence of evidence. The problem is that if you take a birds-eye view on the evidence that is the quran and on then sunnah, the vast amount of inaccuracies, moral failings, ridiculous mythologies, self-serving verses and so on, the picture that emerges is that M made stuff up as he goes along, often self-servingly. Mind you, I'm not saying he's all bad by any means. People are complex, and it's fully possible to have a lot of good in you and still be a sect leader who makes stuff up.

It is impossible to prove the non-existence of something that does not exist. Can you prove a purple elephant isn't flying above your head right now? You would tell me there isn't one but I can always say you just can't see it. In all probability it isn't there. God is the one topic humans make an exception for to suspend reason.

I went through periods of extreme doubt, specifically in the 2010s when there was a lot of atheist content online - this was twinned with some personal life issues. I came out of it with time and learning deconstructionalist arguments against atheism in particular. I became a bit more of a critical thinker. Spiritually, my orientation changed too, a LOT...Generally speaking, I see atheism as pretty backwards and obviously wrong. But that understanding took TIME and suffering. For this specific question, it seems that someone can modify their orientation, typically philosophically or social. In the realm of science, I learned about Scientific Realism vs Scientific Instrumentalism and how that is a tool to understand the natural world...there's more, but this is the comments section :)

@@farhan00 it's because of my absence of indoctrination into this particular religion and also the huge claim your scripture makes for itself. I just heard a well-known scholar say that the Prophet Muhammad's wife Ayesha was definitely not 6 or 9 years old at time of marriage, regardless of whether that appears in Bukhari. It goes against what Allah said in the Qur'an. And that means, that the authenticity of this Hadith has an issue.

It’s never a good approach to use other approaches to scale Islam or believe in God. We should never use other field in order to scale up or make Islam qualify to that field but rather the opposite. Yes we as Muslims can use this approach for dawah or to soften our hearts when they go hand in hand with what is in the Quran and sunnah and we discard what goes against Quran and sunna. Science in it self is never a fact rather and attempt by humans to understand reality. It’s something that keeps changing and deals primarily with the physical aspect of life, using science to explain the metaphysical life form and miracles is really not a good approach. It’s equivalent to using maths to solve biological problems. Scientific method keeps changing (Uncertainty), using such method to measure up your Fitrah in believe in God is tantamount to failure. And Allah SWT does this is in very first chapter verse 2:117 / 36:82 / 30:25. He converted energy E=MC^2 into matter. and matter was dispersed to created universe galaxies and star system 51:1-5 / 21:30 Then this dispersing and expanding universes were controlled and organized 41:11 then after billion of selected earth and made changes to support life / 79:28 / 39:6. / 2:29 spin and tilt 7:54 / 16:12. Then sent Iron as meteorites bombardment to establish gravity 57:25 Then Sent waters to cool earth and start life as Meteorites bombardment 78:14 Then Initiated first life from water Initial single cell life 6:98 and mitosis 7:189 / 30:21 / 49:13 Then Panspermia took place 39:6 Then evolution 29:19…….. and there are other details .. comment will go to long Any doubt in understanding verse please ask…. God gives us these verses of Noah AS and his ship 1500 years back and demand us, to search and find them in present time (treasure hunt) When we find that signs or material, God commanded to search, then that verse or tweet of God is proved. And the book is certified, genuine and authentic. Example Our God said in Quran: Noah Flood started from ""Tanur"" (South India) and the boat of Noah was preserved as his sign on mount Judi (Turkey) And we find ""Tanur"" a town in south Indian coast and the point of initiation of Noah flood/Tsunami. And we found a ship or ark 50 years back by aerial survey, about 1 kilo meter long and fossilized and preserved intact, since million of years inside the Mount Judi in Turkey. Point Two. And the words ""Tanur or Judi or Phoraoh"" are not Arabic words, so Prophet Mohammed PBUH can’t say this by himself. And Prophet Mohammed PBUH, never travelled outside Saudi Arabia in his life......and still dictates about Egypt, Alaska, Turkey, India and Buddha. Tanur verse 11:40 and 23:27 Mount Judy 11:44 And promise to preserve the boat as Living sign 29:15 / 25:37 / 11:49 are not his words. And these discoveries proves Quran the Book of God. Every movement of every heavenly body(every vibration and motion of all the atoms and sub atomic particles and their existence) in this and in any other universe is due to and is in accordance with the Sunnah(laws, commands) of The God therefore everything in the universe (other than conscious intelligent beings like us) is in a state of continues obedience and prayer. Prostration is the best form of showing our thankfulness and obedience to our lord therefore this metaphor is often used both by God in the Quran and also by our holy prophet Muhammad pbuh. Please try to understand similes and metaphors used in the Quran as well as in the Hadith which has helped and is still helping many human beings from 6th century to this day from a farmer of the 6th century to a scholar of 21st century This metaphor of prostration means that everything in this universe (including the passing of day and night) is due to and is in absolute controle of the God. Reading good classical literature and poetry can rid us of machine like reasoning and thinking (AI) and stimulate our faculty of human visionary reason by which we can easily understand the subtlety of such metaphors and similes.

@@jesan733 @Jesper Antonsson LOL, where and how did I implicitly acknowledge your other assertions? If I say I like cats, that doesn't mean I want to see koalas burn. Anyways, 31:29 states the sun and the moon are in orbit, which is absolutely true. There's nothing scientifically wrong with what the Quran asserts here. It serves a modern understanding of the sun and moon and also the desert Arab's point of view. It's a point of reflection of how God has knowledge has over all things. And to further substantiate my point; the Quran repeatedly refers to natural phenomena in a VAGUE sense to serve multiple scientific understandings -- not to make a scientific assertion, but as a point of reflection: "Have they not seen the birds above them, spreading and folding their wings? None holds them up except the Most Compassionate. Indeed, He is All-Seeing of everything." (67:19) "As for the sky, He raised it ˹high˺, and set the balance ˹of justice˺" (55:7) "He laid out the earth for all beings. " (55:10) "He merges the two bodies of ˹fresh and salt˺ water," (55:19) "The sun and the moon ˹travel˺ with precision." (55:5) All these verses are vague in scientific understanding and are very much compatible with our modern scientific findings. The same can be asserted for 31:29

@@Xorgotit was where you contended with only the point where your scholarly repairs stand even half a chance of convincing someone scientifically literate. But ok, so what orbit does the sun move in? The galactic orbit, right, with a 225 million year roundtrip. So why are the companions rhetorically asked within the same verse to see night and day in relation to these orbits as a proof of god? What "orbit" of the Sun is visible to them and is related to night and day? Why couldn't god say the earth is a spinning ball and that's creating day and night? It's not a difficult concept to explain using a rock at night by a campfire. That would have been a divine easter egg for sure. (Ok, some ancient Greeks did actually understand it, but it didn't get traction at the time, so it would have been pretty convincing.)

Lol. So Shaikh, what you’re saying is that the scholars made the rules and only they have the right to change the rules. I thought islam had no clergy-class. When have we become like the Jews and asking imams/rabbis for law. The simple thing is that everything problematic about islam today stems from the books of Hadith and the so called scholars are not discussing/admitting this in public. This is causing ordinary Muslims to either go full beserk (with their understanding) or renounce Islam or those who want a honest review of these Hadith, they’re being silenced and called followers of nafs/Hawa. So disingenuous. Maybe you should do a full lecture about the science of hadith for the public benefit. I was amazed to learn that the Bukhari hadith are considered sound if they have a 51% chance of being quoted by the prophet pbuh. That’s too low in my estimation. We’re basing aqeedah on such hadith!!!!

@@jpzadran4774 I agree while I respect S. Ally and the current speaker in this video, many are abandoning ijma and rejecting established ahadith, and even doubting mass transmitted interpretation of Quran in favor of a modern paradigm. The large error they are commiting is that so called scientific discoveries change. Science is great but scientists are human therefore there interpretations and them are subject to error. Salam alaikum. I did not hear about the channel, or more precisely about Mr. Hany. Hence, I would not even bother to watch his videos.

@@jvfresh3053 Let me express it this way. If there are two doctors, where one spent years studying it, having experience, having proper knowledge and other is self-claimed "doctor". For anyone who has no knowledge of medicine, the other self-claimed seem to be actual doctor. As a layman, I would prefer the first doctor, who is well-recognized, accepted and professional. I would definitely stay away from the second one. For me, iman is the most important thing in this life, even before my health. So, if I am that careful of choosing doctor regarding my health, then I will do my best to choose scholars to listen to learn the knowledge concerning my iman and religion. Ignoring self-claimed scholar (who refutes generations of scholars) and sticking with true scholars, is not ignorance, but wisdom. Hence, I do not think that listening to Mr. Hany is open-mindness. If I were Islamic scholar, I would never bother myself to refute Mr. Hany. Whatever I would do, those who wants to listen to him would still keep listening. Mr. Hany is not new or only one saying similar things and he will not be the last one. So, for Islamic scholars would be better to stay away from this fitna, otherwise it would never end. The life is short, time is invaluable gem given to us. We need to spend it wisely. Thank you for reading. Sorry for taking your time.

A simple Google search I could find a Christian website saying it was on Saturday. You can't blame us for saying what the Christians themselves claimed. So far what I know the Quran only confirms that there were old scriptures but they are corrupted & our scholars only referred to the Quran & Hadiths. If I'm wrong please correct me.
