Fluconazole works great for battling Bryopsis! Just be patient and keep an eye on your water parameters. You've got this!

Can you do one on vermited snails

I had a bad outbreak of bryopsis in my 300 gal reef and I struggled for a long time with it. I ended up trying flucanozole and it worked quickly. I was hesitant to do a chemical treatment but it ended up working out with no issues.

It is shockingly effective. When we treated the BRS160 with fluconazole for a bad bryopsis outbreak, we started seeing results in less than 24 hours!

I did 4x fluconazole for bubble. Worked for both. Bubble came back, bryopsis didn’t.

Bought a Foxface rabbitfish fish, ate it all in three weeks. Not even a little spot left.

What if the algae is at the bottom of the tank, so I'm not able to drain the water level that low unless I remove all the livestock? Am I able to spot dose peroxide underwater directly onto the algae?
@NaturalAquariaАй бұрын
In that case, the Fluconazole will take care of what you can't easily treat with H2O2.

We saw something similar in the BRS160 when we treated bryopsis with fluconazole. I would also keep an eye on your alkalinity levels if you're dosing. Fluconazole treatments appear to inhibit your coral's alkalinity update and can cause them to spike.
