5:44 Yellow looks surprisingly cool. Not sure if it's the lighting but it gives off an electric green type color that looks awesome the with the dark blue (a la Seattle Seahawks)

I was very surprised how well black works , so any of the black ones , but maybe the black with blues on the 5's, #11 is my favorite of the the black variations.

I had a feeling that dial would win. The same one I chose for my new build. It also matches your hair nicely 😁 The remaining parts for mine should be arriving any day. I wanted a chapter ring in dark blue with white lines to match the dial.

After thinking about it for a bit I think we should have picked a bezel first as that could have a major impact on the watch's direction and design cohesiveness. Maybe consider this for next year's build...

I voted black with orange accents. Now all it needs is an orange second or minute hand that would look so good. I have 3 islander watches the all black o.g. diver , dlc pilot type A no date and a type B pilot. Love em all . Wish i could wear em all at once everyday haha.

Batting 500 with the blue dial but I feel it soon will be 333... brushed silver with the black markers. The yellow looks surprisingly good, but it would depend on the bezel insert and hands choices

I’m really having fun with this Marc. I even spoke to the watchmaker at Monta yesterday about what you are doing as I just received my Monta Noble with Anthracite dial (excellent watch BTW…gains .5 a day) Anyway so far I’ve picked the winning case and dial and just voted for the #11 chapter ring…If I’m right on all, I’ll have to buy it!

#11 for me. #8 is a close second. I thought the polished silver was cool, but you'd need minute markers on the dial then.

Really, polished silver with simple engraved marks or white-filled ones would be better than putting minute marks on the dial.

I voted for the deep sunburst blue! :-) For this I've gone out on a limb and voted for the silver with orange accents. Hopefully people will consider the whole picture. The chapter ring should be considered in conjunction with the handset and an appropriately coloured nato ;-)

I was quite sure of my last 2 votes. But unfortunately my selection for the dial wasn’t chosen. This has given me some trepidation about the chapter ring selection: both that the “committee” is going to mess this whole thing up (orange really?), and that my selection might be less than optimal.
