Camilla's orange baby bunny is now six weeks old...and he likes to sit on my shoulder...like a parrot. He's super sweet and as cute as any bunny rabbit can be, but he needs a name. Can you help name my bunny?

I have been learning about rabbits thanks to your channel. I have a long way to go before ever considering becoming a bunny mom . So on that note do you feel bunny's really enjoy being our companions or must they be taught to enjoy it ?

@@janetmccombie9380 Some of them do innately seem to enjoy not only treats given by humans but also affection. Sunny Jim and Cora will sit pretty much forever when I give them head rubs, and they chomp their teeth in pleasure. However, I do think they would prefer the company of another bun vs. a human.

@@janetmccombie9380 @Janet McCombie I have a bonded pair with such different personalities. They both free roam and follow me about the house. If I have a bath they'll nap in the bathroom or sleep on the end of my bed at night. One is naturally very very affectionate and will ignore food till he gets a cuddle, always paws me for attention, wants to sleep in my arms and licks us when we stroke him. He has always done this of his own free will. The other is very independent and wants everything on her own terms. She only really likes to be handled when she asks to be, otherwise you're in the bad books. She's still loving and wants to be with me but in a completely different way, she will nose boop me and sit by my pillow while I sleep and binkies herself away when I wake up. She prefers cuddles from another bunny but will reverse her butt into me when she wants strokes. It's lovely to see them interact as a pair, they're just naturally very different.

Melting.....ahhhh...sooo sweet!! I just love God's little bunny gift to you!! My bun was a shoulder bun too!! She grew out of that but she still jumps on my back when I am on all fours and plays "bus stop" where she jumps to another piece of furniture when I "stop the bus"! Cocoa, Hunny Bun, Fuzzy, Chipper, or Butterscotch....

I'm useless at naming. I have 6 bunnies and I let them name themselves once their personalities emerged. This little guy however is very special and absolutely adorable so I have been trying to think of something that would incorporate the other three special bunnies involved into a two word name. This is the only one I could come up with. Not great I know but maybe someone could run with it and come up with something better. CamTin Sunshine. When spoken out loud sounds like Captain Sunshine but the spelling is as above. I'm sure everyone will get it but just incase - Cam is for Camilla, Tim of course is in honour of the lovely Timmy and Sun is for Sunny Jim and the shine part is because he is a shining light of joy and happiness which I think everyone needs right now especially you after such a dark time. Oh yeah, when I see my baby lops drop it that low, I can’t help but think of a dump truck with extra suspension when they’re overly putting too much bun bum movement in their hops! That and kids play with Tonka toys and he’s a tough little guy paving road in your livingroom that it reminded me of that. Unfortunately, that’s how I’m wired but I could pull metaphors and similes far out from left field! Lol I’ll try to come up with something better. It’s better than me naming that Chinchi “Dust-Pan!”

@@HooksHollands Can’t! But I would if I could if I didn’t have my hands full with my own Holland Lops and rescues! I was at the table all day grooming and taking profile pics for the next lot to be adopted and I’ve been barely slumming along with crippling procrastination all day trying to get it all done so I can edit later. There’s only so many hours in the day and the bunnies Demand playtime outside, so you know how that goes with the mass bunny Exodus from inside to out! Also, I wish I had my own site but I don’t know how to Windows 98 anymore!
