Tip. Hand feed pellets instead of feeding in a bowl to build a bond faster with your bunny, or else use the pellets for foraging instead of feeding in a bowl.

I know everyone suggests unlimited pellets for young bunnies…. But I swear my bunny would have only eaten pellets, and no hay, so I had to start limiting her just a bit so she would eat more hay 😌

My bunny is 8 weeks old and his vet just told me to feed him only a half of 1/4 cup with pellets. He eats him all in less than 5 mins and he always seems to want more. I know when he gets older he'll be able to eat more :-) He loves his pellets!

My bun's favorite treat is home dried apples! Slice them thin and cut them into smaller pieces, keep them in a jar to stay fresh. He knows when I open the jar it's treat time!

Morgan has helped me the whole way of having my buns! In the first couple of weeks when I had my buns they were like only 9 weeks old and my mum and I fed them carrots and lettuce like every day without knowing I was doing something wrong! I think it's pretty common (at least in my country) to feed rabbits old, dry bread, my parents give it to the rabbits that they keep to be eaten and it was applied to my sister's cuddle rabbit as well, unfortunately. So thank you for telling us that it should be avoided, I never would have thought to look it up and I had no idea how damaging it is for their digestive system.

I have a question. I have a baby bun, so I feed him the young rabbit food by the oxbow guarding select line, which is what you feed your bunny but you feed the adult one. in the baby version the protein and calcium are both over what you said they should be?. so should I switch my baby bunny to the adult one or is it OK for now ??

With rabbits pellet you should also get soy free pellets as soy is hard for rabbits to digest and makes there wee smelly when I switch to soy free the smell wasn’t smell couldn’t smell it on clean litter box days and also one of my rabbits is under weight he’s 10 month but my vet is busy and can’t get an appointment for three weeks so does any one have any tips I have been giving him more pellets and oats but what else

The meadow loops from Science Selective contain alfalfa hay. Do you think they are good for adult/senior rabbits? I have just bought some loops from Science Selective (the orchard ones). They do not contain orchard grass but alfalfa hay. I was disappointed..

I recommend the hairbuster brush, specially for rabbits, it's a bit expensive but it's so worth it! Hope this helps a bit :D btw rabbits shed around we every 3 months too

Tips: If you dont eat banana peels, you can actually feed the banana peels to your bunny, do all kinds of treats with it.
