I'd already ordered them both before watching this video, and I was so pleased to find out about 'flow'. I am really impressed with just how fast they're able to switch between devices already but this is some serious QOL. I am mac to mac but I can imagine how good this must be for windows to mac. Awesome work logitech. I think anyone used to work on dual+ monitors from one machine can understand how frustrating it is to then work on the same two monitors but with different machines and inputs.

I have up-to-date Logi Options installed on both computers (2 ethernet desktop PCs running from the same router). I don't know if this is normal or not, but in Logi Options, Flow can only be enabled with the mouse, _not_ the keyboard (Keys doesn't even show a Flow tab to select), is this right? The keyboard only switches between computers if I push the relevant device key, it doesn't do it automatically, and the mouse only goes from one computer to the other (with Flow), not back again to the original. To go back I have to use the button on the bottom of the mouse. Do you have any ideas what might be the problem?

one of the reason for Logi Flow connectivity problem is when network types are different in your computers i.e. mix of Public, Private, Work because different Firewall rules may be applied to different network types so that Logi Flow may have issues to find its way to connect

Thanks for showing how it works! I also wanted to point out that you can right click on a Mac. either use the right mouse button or press control and then left click. If you are using a trackpad click with 2 fingers, or hold control then click.

If the computer does not have bluetooth, yes. My PC uses the Unified reciever, The Mac is connected via bluetooth. You can use up to 7 peripherals with a single unified reciever.

My Flow worked between two imac's of different ages, but it was unstable, i.e. had to change network on the keyboard or mouse to get the cursor to move to the next computer. Tried different setups and still wasn't stable using MX Mouse 3. Used Sharemouse but had problem with computer and needed to download the older version. Sharemouse said I should have backed up the old version myself as they don't give out older versions. Wasn't pleased with their response. So have gone to Synergy - was fiddly installing, but once setup it is much smoother than both Flow and Sharemouse. Also Synergy reasonable price for 5yrs of updates.

If the PC is turned off, the flow software does not work. So to answer your second question, no if the PC is off it can't turn it on remotely.

Each number is a device you can connect it to. Your connectivity options are USB, Bluetooth or 2.4 Wireless.

unfortunately on both my computers, I got the same spinning wheel of "we cannot find any devices or receivers connected to this computer, even though blue tooth and wifi and mouse are all on. So I'm stuck before starting. I gave it 5.3 minutes, which should have been plenty of time. I'm not sure what to do next. It's pretty frustrating

I had similar issues, I had to make sure the Logitech Options was added in the "Accessibility" and "Input Monitoring" in the security and privacy section of the "System Preferences". Then rebooted the mac and it worked!

I have Flow enabled (for MX 2S) between 2 Win10 machines and it works fine. One machine has the supplied USB unified receiver (after I eventually found it - way to go with the packaging Logitech I nearly threw it away with the empty box!). Other PC is connected to the mouse via bluetooth. With Flow enabled moving the cursor from Bluetooth PC to unified receiver PC is seamless, but moving the other way involves a delay of a second or so and some mouse 'shaking' to make it operate - which is irritating. I've ordered a second USB receiver to see if that delay can be fixed.

Also, when you pair the the mouse or keyboard to both computers, are they doing it using the same device switch setting (1, 2 or 3), or is it #1 for computer 1 and #2 switch for computer 2?

what I mean is if we press 2 on the mx keys kb, it should automatically switch the mouse as well to the 2nd laptop instead of manually pressing the button on the bottom of the mouse . ..as both the keboard and the mx 3 mouse are both master series. cant we configure the mouse and keyboard in logitech options software somewhere so that when you click the button on the keyboard it automatically sync the mousealong with the mx keys keboard - configration > Can you please research that and advise. I have the regular MX3 mouse, works great for mac! You can use on 2 separate macs with Bluetooth. All you need to do is pair each one to a different number, then setup flow.

Since Flow doesn't work on Chromebooks, you will be able to use this mouse if the Chromebook has bluetooth but you won't be able to use Flow.

You can do a few configurations. You can do what you have done. You can also connect 3 USB receiver if you have 3 of them. You can also just pair to the one receiver and move the USB to each machine, this method of course defeats the need for Flow.

I havn't noticed a ton of lag on the Mac so far. It is instant. I have been eyeballing the MX 3(came out right after I snagged the 2s) I will post a video on that as soon as I have one.

This is for me the biggest advantage for Logitech. The mouse movement is not going through the wifi but it is using the unifying receiver/Bluetooth of the computer you are controlling.

Hi, this was a really helpful video. just one question. I notice that your monitor is an LG 34 and I assume you can do the split screen where you have 2 different devices plugged into and the monitor splits them. If you were to do that. Could you control your windows with the Logitech keyboard and then control the MacBook pro with the trackpad? so both cursors move on the Ultrawide as they are independent. Hope this makes sense hahaha

Yes you can! The screen being split acts as 2 different screens.

Hello, thanks for the video it was very helpful, I was able to set up both Mx Master 3 and MX Keys to my desktop pc and my macbook air, the problem I have is that sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, I don't know if it has anything to do with the Desktop being connected via LAN and the MBA being connected via WIFI , have you had any issues like this?

I have recently had issues, I notice most when the Mac goes to sleep. I wonder if it is something with Catalina.

Hello, great video, however, I don't have compatible Logitech devices. I have a previous generation of Logitech keyboards MK550 and MK710. What are my other hardware or software options to control two laptops with one of them?
