As an IMSLEC trained OG interventionist, I found it interesting you taught the student to cross out the "r" in "tr," vs teaching the vcccv pattern. What was your reasoning for this approach? I can personally see how it might be helpful to younger students. This is not something I've seen done previously and am legitimately interested in the technique.

Thank you for your question! Just for clarification, we do not cross out any letters. We do, however, scoop a blend if there are more than 2 consonants between the vowels. Is this what you are referring to?
