I don't know why he keeps being told to not to bother leveling up endurance. I find it so helpful to have lots of stamina to hit something 6 times in a row without stopping. You can usually tackle anything if you have plenty of stamina because you can just keep hitting them while they're staggered by your hits. And then roll away afterwards.

@@unsungzero6122 Exactly, and since he needs to be dodging often then he NEEDS endurance in his build. Truly dislike how they're backseating Rob's playthrough. Like, we knew from the start Rob was not going to be the most knowledgeable or the best player, but that wasn't what made us watch his playthrough. So many try-hards should maybe play it themselves so they can play THEIR OWN way.

totally agree. if you have high endurance and a decent weapon like ludwigs blade for example. you can wipe most things out with one or two combos. ecspecially with ludwigs blade because that stun locks most enemies with every hit so even if you dont kill them with the first combo you can roll away with the last bit of your stamina having delt massive damage.

i found the prep to unlock the moon pressence and defeating germain to be so challenging on my first run i made the vital mistake of missing the 2 missible cords. i attacked the agro imposter and got a rune and i never invited adella to the church.

Having been in the exact same position as you when you first started this whole thing, I think you are doing amazing. I wish I had a Rosie, Nath, and Dave to help me do it. Also, I watched Luke from Oxtra do bloodborne for the first time and he seemed equally appreciative/frustrated with the chat’s advice. I think these games just have a very enthusiastic audience and the fact that no one agrees on how to build/play shows that there is no wrong way. Just enjoy the game Rob and know that we are enjoying watching.

Good stuff. This game is definitely an experience. I started a few weeks ago. Up to mergo's wet nurse in the main game, and orphan of kos in the dlc. He is making me his bitch currently until I learn how to maneuver his second phase moves. You'll have quite a few emotional responses throughout lol

Two quick suggestions: those beasts with fur are usually weak to fire; Tonitrus is a very useful weapon for echoes grinding and bosses killing.

Rob I love watching these streams, and I love that you don't know everything about Bloodborne! I find Bloodborne very intimidating as it's confusing and hard to me and I don't understand the mechanics. Watching you during these streams is actually very uplifting and encouraging :) You play how you want to play and level how you want to level. If you want lots of physical strength then go for it! You're doing great Rob. It's a soulsborne game, don't pay to much attention to the chat. Everyone has their own way of playing they think is best because it works for them. For example. I went full glass cannon using the saw cleaver up until I had my first last chat with the doll. Its dumb and I don't suggest it, but it worked for me and my play style.

I keep replaying these Bloodborne videos and it always gets me in the mood to re-install the game and get the DLC which I never got around to for some reason and give it a bash. Loving the content, keep up the great work! (edit) after watching it way more times then I should, I have to say i think Rob should just ignore the comments and the others that aren't in game (say Dave in this case is the one to see/talk to chat) that way Rob can do things his way without the interference of people that think they know what's best and what he should do. also Rob, the magic/fun has not seeped at all for me, its a blast to see you experience Bloodborne for the first time. (must be true as I watched all these videos many many times each). and I eagerly await each new episode/stream!

Rob! Don't be sad or disheartened! Absolutely loving watching you play Bloodborne! Its a frustrating game by design. I only recently got round to playing it and did a lot of it with a friend too! There were times I felt like I was never going to 'git gud'- having exactly the same "WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO!?" moments... now I've finished three playthroughs and on my fourth. You'll get there with perseverance and from the first stream to this one you've come leaps and bounds. Honestly you're doing great and they're really entertaining streams! Don't listen to the haters. Backseaters are the worst. Listen to Dave and Rosie and just try to enjoy this marvellously frustrating game. It'll be all worth it by the time the credits roll.

Please do, you won't regret it. The Father Gascoigne fight was the turning point for me. The rush from beating that fight was like nothing else I've had in gaming. I don't mean to disrespect this channel by name dropping others but Fighting Cowboy did a really good walk-through this January and the community on reddit is also really welcoming if you're after help or advice.
