I just came here from Daniel’s vlog. Thank you both for working as a team to document Monty’s journey. I have seen a lot of animal births and I have never seen such a quiet birth like Monty. I adore Monty’s expression “Am I good girl? Am I doing good?” Joey, your amazing with the deliveries. So calm & assuring. My deepest sympathies for Snowball. I'm actually still confused after watching both videos if there were originally 12 or just the 11. In this video it seems like Joey managed to re-animate the only one that was a close call and I didn't get the impression that any of them didn't make it. Did Joey block snowball out? Or maybe Daniel managed to obscure it from him, so Joey never knew? It seemed like Joey didn't know about the death of snowball at all, which was born in 10th, before the last two, right?

Oh, my gosh, Monty was amazing! I love how she looked up at you after giving birth to many, as if asking, "Did I do a good job, Dads?" Joey, you were so calm and reassuring. I am so glad you were able to be there to help deliver those babies. Of course, one of them you had to bring back to life--sound familiar! My dog was part of a litter of 8, which was kind of a lot for the small dog her mother was and the delivery was traumatic for the owners. Three dogs died during delivery and a few hours following. 5 dogs were left, my girl Chloe was the smallest of the five and concerningly small, the dog slightly above her in weight died the following day so the owners of the mom were determined to help the rest live no matter what it took. They made sure to lift Chloe to the nip and handfeed her as well with advice from vets and ultimately managed to ensure she lived. I credit them tremendously both with saving my dog but also dealing with all that awful stress and still pushing through to help the puppies get through safe. I can't imagine what that would be like, so I just want to credit you for helping these dogs get through labor safely. I know from secondhand knowledge it can go to devastating places and I'm glad these dogs have had great help

I really enjoyed watching this because I just lost my pet cat Maddie, she was 16 and she went missing yesterday morning. She was sleeping with me and like usual she jumps off my bed when I'm almost asleep but that was the last time I saw her. My family and I are quite emotional at the moment and I'm just happy that I was able to watch this and think about her. It's harder losing her because she was there before my siblings and I were born so she was a very special cat. I didn't think we would be getting a new pet so soon but it would definitely help with the grief of Maddie (we haven't got one yet but we're going to go and look). It was really hard on my dad since he loved her so much and I don't know if he'll be okay with moving on so soon but it's what Maddie would have wanted. This was an amazing birth to watch and it makes me feel better about Maddie. Thank you Joey and Daniel 😊

Joey, I'm so tempted to get one of those babies. I'm in Vegas but originally from Cali & visit my family all the time there. I'm coming back to visit in February so if the puppies are available then, I would love to pop in & adopt one. I've always wanted a golden retriever. This spring, our guardian dog gave birth to nine puppies. One unfortunately had a nerve defect and was having fits so had to be put down, but the rest were perfectly healthy. Rest in peace Snowball, and good for you Monty! Proud mama.
