I'm considering getting this bike, but I currently weigh 138 kilograms. While I'm losing weight quickly, I have concerns about whether the bike can support my weight. I hope my question doesn't sound offensive, but could you share your weight during the filming of this video? I'd appreciate any insights. Thanks in advance.

I believe at my height when I got the bike I was 275-285 pounds. I am not 235-240.

Hey Joey, some hopefully helpful advice. I have been researching bikes and have my eye on the Diverge. Also have been riding and thinking about bike fitting. There appears to be controversy about the Future Shock being too soft or too hard. My thought is this has to do with riding position. Bike fitters emphasise riding in a balanced position without your shoulders being slumped forward and too much weight supported by your arms. Try moving your seat forward to alleviate this situation.. Then your arms won't tire and hopefully the Future Shock won't bottom out on you. Let me know what you think. Otherwise I understand the new 3.3 version is stiffer.

I’ll give it a try!

Also, can try reducing stem size, which may be better alternative. I have already ordered a 40mm stem to try, just based on my measurements.

First rides today. Initial impression for me at 145 lbs and with a slightly too forward position is that the Future Shock 2.0 is probably too stiff. Not much adjustment range as reported by BikeSauce. Guessing it only adjusts dampening not spring. Maybe I would be better off with version 1.5 which has different springs? Time will tell. For now it seems good on big bumps. My first bike with electronic shifting. Definitely blown away at how easy it is to keep perfect cadence!

this is expert model. its probably the best variant in the diverge lineup to buy as it comes stock with carbon wheels and it has reasonable price in terms of specialized prices of course :D

So glad I found this review. How do you feel about this bike a year later?? I have an opportunity to get this exact color on sale and I’m not sure if I should jump on it or not! Does this color show a lot of imperfections it’s so hard to see it in the light. I bet it looks way better in person???? please help. I appreciate it so much.
