Why do you put the real adt before your last compressor? Also, I noticed in your other videos you put the FF Saturn last in your chain, so what’s the difference?

This was helpful but I need to watch another video. LOL Seriously, I think I got it but will have to find free plug-ins or use what comes with logic pro x. I'm a beginner and until I "master" my program, I do not plan to purchase plug-ins. Thank you for this video. EXTREMELY helpful with stepping my production up. Grace & Blessings

I have binge-watched like 6 of your videos and.. I mean this in every sense of the phrase: you are the man. So talented, so passionate, so well-spoken, so so so knowledgable. And man, I appreciate you! I also really appreciate that there isn't any shtick with any of your videos. Straight to the point, easy to listen to, the songs and vocals that you are editing are always fireeee, and just pure talent. Good shit. Keep it up. I am literally just starting to learn about this stuff, downloaded pro tools yesterday so I'm nowhere near anyone who knows anything, and pretty much all of the audio on anything I've recorded myself is a complete mess haha but these videos have been hugely helpful.

Btw the black cla 76 gives more presence in the vocal than body, the blue one is for body but got body from the black which i think killed u 2 birds with one stone bc when u compress a vocal u bring some of the body of vocal out n using a black 76 u brought out the body of the vocal plus giving it a presence with the actual compressor...i think this was a little confusing like when u explain something Tho i think u better a lil bit LOL anyways great tutorial

Great tutorial. You're a great teacher that makes it for a lot of peeps to understand. even knowing this stuff already I find myself intrigued. Only nit pick I have is doing the narrow boosts to find bad frequency. Honestly that will make most frequencies sound bad. Its safer to do a negative sweep and listen to see if it clears up that bad area or not.
