This ep was dope. In fact one of the most informative, begind the scenes look at how some of the workflows and happenings that go on working with artists. I normally listen on Spotify while I commute to work. With my work week starting on Wednesdays, you guys make my 45min drive worth it, putting me in a good place before work. I was wondering where the platform would go to top off the humble beginnings, and y’all have cultivated one of the most professionally present podcasts for us. ❤ Happy holidays to you and yours. BE YOURSELF. This was my main takeaway from Teezio. Sometimes we overcomplicate things cuz we feel it’s not pro enough if we don’t have a complicated template with all the parallel stuff and whatnot. Of course it takes soooo many years of training your ears to be able to differentiate good from not so good, but then again sometimes even that’s subjective. Sometimes the most obvious answer is the answer. lol great great stuff. I’m glad we live in a time where we have access to all this great knowledge and that there’s so many generous artists/engineers who are willing to share their knowledge. It just elevates everyone as a whole! Again, thanks and cheers!

Yooo real talk, I think that's the next step or conversation (at least for me) where we gotta talk about the economic side of things as a producer or audio engineer. Lol as much as I love creative and gear aspect, I always wonder how to deal with the financing side of things such as taxes, getting paid and not having to deal with the IRS lol. Also if anyone reading this can direct me to a KZbin link that talks about this kind of stuff, that would be dope! Easily one of the best episodes so far. Still waiting on Jason Joshua and Leslie Braitwaite(i def spelled his name wrong lol) to complete the trifecta...for me at least lol .

As a fully blind mixer, it’s crazy to hear him talk about the speed hit from just mixing with your ears alone. I think there are benefits and drawbacks to mixing using your eyes. Definitely, looking at the frequencies, it’s easier to identify potential problem frequencies. However, not having site has forced me to really really lock in to identifying frequencies by ear, and that has greatly improved my accuracy and speed. that’s being said, there’s some things to say about seeing my peers look at a plug-in, whacking a frequency, and immediately hearing a difference without mocking about

I'm Otis Isaacs, the Cakewalk Crusader. -started on cool edit pro 2, and got Cakewalk only a year and a half ago. haven't looked back.- The way Teezio described his story, his transition from tracking CB to being a full time Mixing Engineer. Is inspiring. I fell in love with mixing so it's nice to hear someone with his expertise. I learned something from like every sentence he spoke. The slap back thing was nice to learn. I relate to the growth everyday 😂 I also hate my mixes from even a month ago haha. I'm actually awe struck while listening to him. Makes me feel inexperienced but the fact of the matter is I am. The pops and clicks from Auto Tune Pro X come from the tracking knob in the top left. By default it’s at 50 but if you turn it to 100 it’ll fix the issue. If that’s a big reason why people tend to prefer older versions of Auto Tune then that’s an easy fix.
