BMW M2 Blow-Off Valve and Turbo Inlet Pipe Install - (N55 Engine)

My buddy Evan brought his 2018 BMW M2 over the other day and we installed a Blow-Off Valve and a Turbo Inlet Pipe. We made a very detailed install video to help you guys out that are wanting to do the same or just to see what's involved. I just replaced the fresh air inlet hose on my 2015 435i. Removal of the fan assembly gave me plenty of room to install the pipe. For the M10 bolt at the turbo, I used a long 1/4” extension and fed it through above the water pump motor.

Looking to install the same parts this weekend. Along side of the Diverter valve and turbo inlet going to do a coolant change, thermostat hose/flange upgrade, and boost pipe as well. Hopefully with the coolant change I'll just rip the 2 hoses right out. I also have a oil catch can as well so the breather line hopefully is easier for me since it is already detached from my engine.

I'm not sure if it is different spec'd M2s. I'm in Canada and my 2018 LCI M2 the "T20" screw holding in the breather pipe is a "T25", very important to check how the screw fits, I almost stripped the T25 using a T20 bit and realized something was not right, checked with a T25 and out it comes. I did it a bit differently, ripped out the turbo inlet to almost an out position and just got to it with a 1/4" ratchet with no extensions. Granted my other side of the breather hose was disconnected from the engine already as I have an oil catch can.

For top hose...Use 4 dimes to put between the the clamp and it should release.

Did you get the inlet to sit perfectly flush on the coupling near the turbo? I noticed on yours and mine I can't fully slide it on because of the 10mm nut and stud

Appreciate the video. I completed the job in 7.5 hours. Without your guidance this would have been 2x harder. Thank you. Putting o ring lube helped a lot. Grinding the Allen was a no go. Your method worked with long ball head hex. I turned it and used regular Allen to do final tightening. Again, really really appreciate the video.
