My rear wheel had a puncture and needed to be replaced, so I made a DIY tutorial video on how to remove the rear wheel of my 2016 S1000XR. Hope it helps!
Torque Spec is 100Nm or 73ft lbs.

This is the third time I’ve done this and it’s still a struggle. Be very careful of the speed sensor ring as I’ve dinged mine so now the ABS/Traction control is disabled with the electronics going mental! I’ve hopefully not damaged the sensor itself but knowing my luck…

nice instructions, one thing that will make life easier is to push the pistons down in the rear brake caliper before you reassemble so that it will easily clear the rotor when you're putting it back on. Trying to get it back in with barely enough clearance will cause one to cuss a lot.

The rear wheel sensor has very little clearance between it and the sensor ring. Rolling the wheel back risks damaging the sensor ?
