To me, Hurdy Gurdys can be best described as medieval e-guitars XD They lend themselves _so_ good for folkish metal stuff due to that. Or like here, just good old Iron Maiden.

I often wonder what the writers of rock and metal songs make of all the weird, but truly wonderful, covers that people are recording, often 30, 40, or more, years after they were written. I can't help but think that Steve Harris would never have considered the possibility that, 28 years after he wrote and recorded this song with Iron Maiden, a girl in Poland would record an instrumental cover using a hurdy gurdy.
