great content! IMO, the greater the martial artist, the greater awareness state he's capable being in.. a martial artist should be aware of the movement they make.. this one is one way to awake the awareness! Thank you!

Hello there! Do we need to try to keep our arms at the same height as our shoulders? as well as Where should the tip aim when it is stabbed?
@FedericoMalagutti5 жыл бұрын
佘予然 You can practice it in every way you want. The best thrust is the one that close the enemy line during its execution. But it is not always possible so train every version of the thrust you need.

I would not want to get in a real Sword fight. The outcome may not favor Me. I don't like the idea of getting skewered and or slashed.

What gear is the "instructor" wearing? Is it a plastron and a gambeson? Thanks!

I think the advanced exercise doesn't require that much skill from the instructor. When I was learning basic defence we would switch roles and attack/defend from different directions. There's also an exercise in which you keep your eyes closed until your partner shouts and follows with an attack immediately after and it was still used at the "noob" level
