Beautiful. California has some really nice lakes. My favorite spot is Lake Cachuma near Solvang. Don't get to go back as often as I would like. Best wishes!

Born raised in banning use to fish at lake hemet lake fulmore in the 80s good fishing all the way in the back of the lake.

One thing is absolute. It is going to be cold, haha! If you do, go and tight lines! Fish should be hungry.

@@TWITCH3D0UT it'll be one of the warmer of the openers, but the snow is going to be deep everywhere so that's the challenge and I know a lot of the lakes are still going to be frozen... Question is what water will be open for the thousands of people that'll be there?. It's going to be a s*** show

Yeah, I believe you are correct. A lot of people will be staying home. I know the resorts are pushing a lot of post trying to drum up business but I think people can clearly see it's not the best conditions for the most part. They're still going to be some really good spots up there to fish with some big fish showing up if you know where to go though so that'll be fun for those that make the trip
