H&O are beautiful planners. Though not an alternative to the Hobonichi Cousin for me because the setup and paper is so different. But the paper H&O uses is awesome 👏🏻 and they have so many lovely free printables too!

Even with the print out, I can't quite tell if the weekly columns are the same at the Cousin. I want to make sure the Hemlock and Oak will take Cousin kits. Also, with the paper difference, and the hard bound book instead of paper bound, how is the book and spine holding up to sticker usage? Thank you! I am figuring out if I want to order this planner for 2024.

From my understanding, the version I reviewed is an A5 size and that makes the columns the same as a cousin. I would need to double check (my daughter has a cousin). I can’t speak to how well the spine will hold to regular sticker usage, though. I didn’t use it for very long and even when I did, I didn’t use many stickers.

Thank you. I’m aware the term is used by those who truly are parenting on there own, but since there isn’t actually a term for this situation, I don’t know what else to call it. I empathize with those who are true solo-parents and I hope when I use the term it doesn’t offend anyone. I never pretend that I know what someone in that situation is going through. I can only relate to my experiences. That’s why when I use it, I always explain that he’s traveling so that it is clear as to what I mean.
