Does it damage metal gear inside the tank? Because I m afraid of driving mine in the sand. Of course I would clean it afterwards but are there some issues with the gear and tracks after driving?

For this tank, I dont have any issues driving it on sand. None of my tanks have issues with the gears. Few of my tanks, have issues with the tracks. You can check the vid for the Abrams Sand Test Run.
