For those dealing with this issue: for starters make sure that you aren't using a shampoo or conditioners WITH silicone it blocks the indigo even after using the henna first! Number 2 DON'T add any oils or other additives than warm/hot not boiling water or black tea. And most importantly since I've been there myself 'sigh' ADD a bit of henna in the indigo to make it STICK to the hair like 85% indigo and 15% henna. THIS SHOULD SOLVE THE ISSUE if clarifying the hair doesn't work, because indigo is very picky but simple NO PRODUCT BUILD UP. Henna on the other hand is extremely forgiving. Good luck ladies.

Can you please help me. So i tried Henna and indigo two times and it did not work. My roots are orangy / brassy now. Should I skip henna entirely and just apply indigo to my roots...? I dont want jet black i want dark brown but at same time i really need my roots covered and i am worried that mixing henna with indigo is causing my roots to not get colored...?

Indigo n henna didn’t work no matter what I did. And I used all your products. I just use the henna alone now. My darker hair is showing more of its brown tones.

My issue is that it washes out in less than a week. I do hendigo every weekend, and by mid-week, the indigo and much of the henna has already faded from the roots. It's annoying. Same thing happens with a two-step process. It used to last longer than this. My hair can't be growing THAT fast.

Hello. Please make sure to do indigo within 72 hours of henna application (right after or next day included). Indigo does not always work the first time and repeated application(s) may be necessary.

So indigo powder always worked on me. I usually use it second days after I color my hair with hanna But all the sudden is stopped working on me it does not color my hair. I'm thinking something maybe mixed in the indigo powder that I used to buy.

Please help. I have used indigo over my hennaed hair. First it looked green, then it oxidised to a blue grey colour and then it turns pink. Three times now. I don't use hair conditioner or shampoo on my hair. The indigo is rinsed and the hair not washed. The pink comes after 1 day.

Hello. Henna treatments like powder, glosses, color treatments, and masks can only be repeated every 3-4 weeks. Color usually every 4-6 weeks and root touch-ups in between

You can add it to your henna but it can slightly reduce the red of the henna and the caffeine can add more dryness to the hair. But adding it to the indigo will make it not work.

The ratio that I use for Chocolate Brown is 70/30 Henna/indigo

@@melissaumbenhour2493 you could always try a mermaid wash. I use an old bowl to get the majority of henna out of my hair and when I lived in a house I would just dump it in the yard
