Gtfohhhhh. Thats like saying khabib hung with justin on the feet. Jan isnt even in the same category as israel on the feet. The threat of the takedown, totally changes the way a striker fights. Yeah he hung with him, due to the takedown threat being an equalizer, but that doesnt mean they are nearly as talented on the feet. So dont try to translate that to another fight.

Cannonier does have the will to fight at heavyweight. To scale that success in two lower weight classes, I don't know what the gameplan is but having the cardio to chain takedowns could be a path. I have not seen a lot of heavyweights who chain wrestle and the only person that can do that is Blaydes however in that division, the stand up is just too action packed. I wonder if a 185 lb Polish Power could do the same gameplan against Stylebender like we saw at LHW.
